The kids love it. Must be powered by the most energy inefficient LED because it needs new batteries about once a week. It stays on for 1 hour and then turns itself off. We put it on when our son goes to sleep so it runs about 7 hours per week. It rotates through three colors (green, blue and orange/yellow). If the orange/yellow color is red then you know the batteries are low. It will display red for a couple of seconds and then power off. If you do purchase invest in rechargeable batteries! Read more
Waste of money
I originally ordered it and the battery compartment screw backing was missing, so I couldn't screw closed the battery lid. I had to return it and buy it again. It came again, and this time it worked for a few days, then it flickered on and off. We realized that the battery was not touching both connections. My husband opened it up and put a coin to tighten it up. That was great for a while, but then after another week the battery lid bowed out and it started flickering again. It's cute and when it worked...it was great. The trick is keeping it working. I admit my kids aren't the most gentle, but they are not unusually wild with their stuff either. They are obviously meant for children, but they are not sturdy. Read more

Like other complaints. Worked well for a few days then kept going out randomly. Too bad, love the mobility and changing color. Adjust brightness would be nice too, but who cares if it doesn't work anyways. Read more

Bought these for my 6 year old grandchildren. They love them. Just enough light to keep them from being afraid of the dark. Soft light colors. Turns off after about an hour. Just the right size to take to bed. These were actually their favorite gift this year. Read more

Gives off a good amount of light. It turns off after an hour so it helps save the batteries. I usually keep it on the blue light so it's not too bright, but my daughter likes the "light show" option as it goes through the 3 different light settings. Read more
