I just happened to come across these shoes and am so glad I did! I ordered the Owl Gang style and they arrived in two days in a plain brown box. There were no wads of paper or plastic wedges inside the shoes and yet they held their shape. I appreciate the minimal packaging for helping the environment (I feel guilty enough having things shipped to me). At first they had that plastic off-gassing smell but it quickly faded (yay). Now onto the design and fit. The design is adorable and the colors are vibrant without being garish. No stray drips of glue like you might see on cheap shoes, so these don't look cheap. Other buyers have said the shoes were stiff, so I was concerned, but I don't find them to be stiff at all. They have a nice bit of padding in the shaft, so I can bend my foot at the ankle without difficulty and without the shaft digging into my skin. I don't notice a squeak that others mention, so extra yay. My only concern, and the reason for the 4 stars rather than 5) is there is no real padding in the footbed. It's a hard step. I slipped a cushioning orthotic insert in there, which feels better. Even with the orthotic, there's plenty of room for my toes to feel comfortable (aah). And did I mention how adorable they are? Super adorable. Since I just got them I can't say anything yet about durability, but once I've walked a mile or three in these shoes in the rain, I'll update. For now, I am very happy I have these!! Awesome boots! Super comfortable and absolutely no “breaking in period”. I wore these boots for over 8 hours the first time I put them on and they were awesome! No blisters or rubbing, just a great fit. This colors or beautiful and go with just about anything I want to wear. I always get compliments on them.
