This is a really pretty pointelle knit sweater. I'm pleasantly surprised how much I like it. A bit about me, I'm 5'3", wear between a 14 and 16 in US sizing and have a very large bust. Because of this, I often order to my larger size to ensure nothing is overly snug or pulling in this area. It's really for comfort and how I like things to sit on my body. I've ordered from this brand before and find that the XL allows me to feel comfortable in it. In this, I ordered the XL and it fits great. I find this top to be a relaxed fit which works well for this style. I ordered it in the "camel" color and it's a beautiful golden beige (what you expect a camel color to look like). The material is on the thinner side which will work well for the warmer months. Speaking of the material, I will have to either wear a camisole or skin-toned undergarments as due to the knit/crochet parts, you can see through it. It's not all over but you'll notice in my pictures the cross-crochet openings. It shows the skin and it's all over the top. Not a huge deal but not something I think I fully appreciated from the description and their pictures. The hem is ribbed and sits comfortably on my hips. I think the description photos do a great job of showing how it sits on the body. The sleeves fall to my elbows. The is a really pretty detail, pleating in the sleeves by the shoulders that give it a little shape or poof in this area. It's not drastic so I don't want to imply that but does give it a feminine feel. The collar is a little floppy but it's not terrible. I haven't washed it yet so I can't speak on how it holds up when laundered but I will use a laundry bag when I do machine wash it (lay flat to dry). Tl;Dr: I really like this summer sweater top. It does have some open crochet work so you can see some areas of skin under, but the detail is really pretty. It's lightweight and the material feels nice against the skin. It will work for a variety of settings and can be dressed up or down depending on your needs. Read more
