This top is absolutely adorable and looks quite a bit more high end than the pictures! I wear a small and ordered a medium for extra room. The small would've been a great fit, though I love roomy. I didn't get a chance to model it...my back has some 'senior old age' compression fractures, so I haven't been out of a nightgown in a couple days! I did do a quickie try on though, and this top has such a fashionable look as well as being versatile. I love the hang, the cap sleeves, the roomy crew neck, and the irresistable charm of this top's well crafted crochet. Though this top is see through, it isn't so see through that I'd be embarrassed to just wear a bra underneath. I'm a senior, so depending on where I'm wearing this, maybe a sports bra, but really, the crochet is woven in such a way that anyone looking would just get a 'peek'. This top could also be used to layer over many different types of long sleeve shirts, bathing suits and other attire, though for summer, it's perfect as is! Wash in a mesh bag, and though it says to lay flat, I'd probably just hang to dry. Once you actually see this top, you'll love it! I like the tuck in look per seller ad, and I do wear many tops this way with jean pants, capris, and shorts. The design and well made crochet look make this a must have for summer wear! This is exactly what I needed for my trip to Thailand where it is hot and muggy and I don’t do well in heat. It is flatting even on a larger frame and with a thin camisole under, it is very breezy and cool. You can’t wear see through clothing into the temples I still needed a shawl but it was so worth it for the rest of the trip. The pattern is very sturdy (?) so that it doesn’t get distorted when pulled. I still have to be careful not to get it caught on anything and use a washing bag. It has not shrunk or become discolored after several washes. The fabric still feels the same as day 1. This is a very value for the money and so hard to find! Read more
This is a cute top by Dokotoo. It is a see through crochet pullover top that could be worn as a beach cover top or even as a going out to a concert kind of shirt over a tube top or tank. I ordered this in an XL and I would say that it is mostly true to size. I like how it fit everywhere except for the bottom of the shirt (wish it had just a little more room). Since the knit pattern has open holes, you can definitely see through it, so I wore a tank underneath for the photos. If you prefer a little extra room for layering with a camisole, I’d recommend sizing up. The crochet pattern is really pretty in person. The material is listed as 65% polyester and 35% cotton, and it feels more substantial than I expected—heavier and sturdier rather than delicate like lace. It seems well made. I ordered the apricot color, which looks more like a beige to me, and it matches the photos accurately. One unexpected thing I liked: when I hung the top up after trying it on, it had a pleasant, lightly perfumed scent instead of the usual “vacuum-sealed packaging” smell. I really like this sweater top. I did find it to be a bit on the snug side as there is little stretch in it. I was surprised by this as it looks like it would be stretchy. It does not have a lining, so you will need a shirt under it if not using it as a coverup. The stitching is good and the hem part is a thick tight knit. It is hard to see in the listing but it is not as flexible as pictured so there is more structure to it than slouchy. upsize if you are wanting the slouchy look. Read more
This is perfect. It is pretty see through, so I'll just wear a tank top, or even a long sleeve shirt under in the cooler weather. I love how light it is and even with the crochet look, the material is very soft. Which just really surprises me. I crochet so to get this soft feel, I normally have to go with chenille or something. This is just lovely. It is a bit loose. I'm in between sizes L and XL and I got an XL. I may have been able to go down in size instead. With wearing something under, there's plenty of room to move and to style the shirt how I want to. For my personal taste, it's a bit too transparent to not wear anything, although a bathing suit would be perfect!
