A Must Have

Christie817November 5, 2025✓ Verified purchase

If you do not already own this coat run now and get it. It is super cute boho style. The sizing is a little on the small size. I usually wear an XS and they were out so I ordered the S. It fits perfect. Definitely size up. You will love it!!!! Read more

Calling all goddesses to order their coats

ShopperMarch 23, 2025

I ordered the Dolls Kill Woven Dreams Denim Trench Coat by Current Mod - Floral Embroidered Stretch Denim with Faux Fur Collar - Blue, and I love it. I have been ordering Dolls Kill items since I first found them, and I've been happy with everything including this. When I first saw it, I couldn't order it fast enough because it is my personality perfectly. Normally, I tweak my clothing to look a certain way since I can't find it, but this is already done for me where I don't have to. When it first arrived I noticed how heavy it was since there is a lot of jacket here. It is a stretchy denim, and it is a good thickness for a jacket. I ordered the small, however, I actually wanted to go for the XS but it wasn't available at the time and I just really wanted this. Now, according to their size chart I would be closer to a size small for this coat, but because I wear XS in everything else I order from this brand, I knew I could have ordered smaller. Basically, their size charts always says I should order a small with my waist and bust measurements, but XS fits me better. But the problem is my hips are only 31" which according to their chart is an XXS. That's a drastic difference in sizes so they say my hips need and XXS but my chest and waist need a small which is two sizes away. So, if you're similar to me with my measurements, I recommend an XS with this brand right in the middle. I don't know if that makes any sense, I'm just trying to help someone out who measures outside the box. Lol For scale, I'm 5'4", have very broad shoulders, 34A cup, very long torso, 25-in waist and 31-in hips. So, by following their size chart suggestion it does fit fine without being too big or too small, but it's only because there's a tie around the waist pulling everything in. When the coat is on it looks like it does on the model in the listing. I eventually did put it on while wearing three shirts at once to test it (thick sweatshirt then long sleeve underneath, and a cami as a bottom layer), and I still had tons of extra room inside in the midsection even when fully buttoned, so an XS would have suited me fine. The coat is pretty well made in general. The only thing I have concerns about potentially down the road are the buttons hoping that they stay intact. There are ties on the wrists that look silly on me, so I immediately removed them. But what is great is the fact that both of them are long enough to actually wear as belts around my own waist (25"), so that will come in handy for me. Since I'm only 5'4", this goes down to a few inches above my ankles, and it looks great. I love the flower embroidery, and they are overly large pockets in the front which are very useful and functional. There is a long slit that goes down the back that is very stylish, and I love that the wrists and the bottom are frayed. The only thing that I don't like about this that isn't an option to remedy is the furry, blue collar. I just think it would look much better without it or at least have the option to remove it. I'm not a fan of something like that on anything that I wear, and if you are going to wear this in warmer weather which you can the vibe is off with it. However, I knew that going into it and because I loved everything else about it, that is why I actually ordered it. This isn't lined, but if you dressed warmer or added an undercoat underneath it would be fine in cold weather. For example, I have a really neat black velvet trench coat I thrifted years ago that I could wear underneath. I've done it under other coats as it hides well. If you do that obviously you would want it to match since there is a slit on the back side and you will get glimpses of the undercoat. I did iron it a little bit after I got it. Overall, it's a very unique, stylish, well made coat that will get a lot of compliments. I'm so happy and grateful I was able to get it as I feel I just upgraded my life with a goddess coat to represent everything I've had to overcome so far. I've never had a coat that I felt a goddess would wear until now, thank you. Read more

Beautiful thick coat, a little tight across the middle. 4.5 stars.

NekomancerMarch 5, 2025

This coat is a statement piece. It is absolutely beautiful, and looks and feels like it's high quality. It does seem worth it for the price. It's very long, and feels like a comforting weight against your legs, making it perfect for fall or spring at least. It's not lined, so I don't think it would fare well as a winter coat. The embroidery is lovely and well done, and I didn't notice any raveling or loose threads. The faux fur on the collar is ludicrously soft, and really dials the beauty of the coat up to 11. The arm straps are a bit odd, and seem a bit unwieldy though, but they can be easily removed, which is what I did. If you are wearing this coat out in cooler weather as it is intended, definitely invest in a nice turtleneck or scarf, or both. Your upper chest is left exposed in this coat. The coat fits well, for the most part. It fits my shoulders perfectly, but when I button it up, it is a bit tight across the midsection. I do appreciate the stretchy fabric, though I wish I could have sized up to an XL when I requested this; alas, the largest size available was, indeed, large, so I had to make do. I was worried it wouldn't fit at all, and pleasantly surprised it fits as well as it does. I would say the measurements are accurate, with the stretchy fabric of course allowing for some leeway. The only nitpicks I have with the coat aside from what I've listed is that the buttons are a bit difficult to deal with, but that is likely my CTS causing issues, and that there is polyester used in its construction- I wish it was all cotton with some spandex. Overall I would definitely recommend this beautiful coat as a good buy. It's a lovely statement piece as I said at the start, and would add artistic flair to any outfit. Read more

Works Great on My Petite Frame-My New Fave Spring Piece!

AmericanGypsyMamaApril 7, 2025

This denim trench coat is an absolute vibe. The floral embroidery on the patchwork pockets and hem details makes you wonder if this jacket is from the early ‘00s or the early 1970s. Either way, it feels nostalgic and classic wearing this. The faux fur collar is luxe, and the ties at the sleeve ends are my favorite part. I’m 5’1” and yes, it runs long on me—but in the best way. It drapes beautifully and makes such a statement without trying too hard. I’ve already styled it over dresses and wide-leg trousers—it’s pretty versatile. One small downside: it’s not lined, which is a bit of a bummer for the price point, but honestly? It’s still a forever piece in my wardrobe. I feel amazing every time I wear it. Read more

True to size, well made, gorgeous but not heavy

MiaJune 11, 2025

This coat is a "that girl" of coats in the best way. It's comfortable with just enough stretch to move easily while still being tailored with the ties to bring in my waist. The floral embroidery and faux fur collar add a beautiful touch that feels unique to other coats I've worn recently. It’s warm enough for cool days but not too heavy. The fit is true to size and feels well-made. Read more
