I have had two previous surgeries on my left shoulder and I now require a third. Unfortunately, surgery at this time is not an option, which is why I chose to purchase a brace. I have had three SLAP tears, two dislocations, bicep tenodesis, etc... I'll just get to the point that this brace is excellent. Not only is it comfortable, it is effective. The brace is versatile, it comes with multiple straps so that you can configure it to your needs/injury to alleviate the pain. Athough my pain is not gone, this brace supports my injured shoulder enough to make it bearable. If you are looking for a good brace I highly recommend this one. I guess it is safe to assume that if you are reading this you are shopping around. I just wanted to give you some additional advice-not to purchase an OmoTrain brace. Ordered a Large - runs small!!! Runs smaller than the chart indicates. I struggle getting it over my forearm, I think it’s going to tear before too long, because I can’t get it on all the way. There doesn’t appear to be any taper to the sleeve. My bicep measures 14.5” unflexed, and according to their website a 14”-17” bicep is a large. As stated above, it gets hung up on my forearm and I’ve yet to get into it all the way. I only wear it to the gym, because it makes you sweat so much it’ll soak your shirt. Also another note, my only semi success has been using a long sleeve polyester gym shirt. I place the sleeve of the shirt in the sleeve of the brace and put it on like a shirt, otherwise the rubber backing on the shoulder brace grabs your skin and it’s not budging any further. It’s also so tight that as you work out and get a pump, it starts to restrict blood flow in your arm 😂 Read more

I play rugby and am just recovering from a shoulder surgery. I wore this to my first game which the doctor specifically told me to get and that it wouldn’t rip tear or any other damage to this product. I tore my rotatory cuff approx 1 year prior to making the purchase. I am extremely impressed with the quality and protection this has given me! I play slow-pitch softball (Adult) for a coed travel team. Yes I play a hot spot 3rd base, so getting the ball to 1st base was simple with the help of the DonJoy brace. There are many ways this can be used so I recommend watching a YouTube Video to learn how to properly put it on for your specific injury. Avoid at all costs!! My doctor measured and told me what size to buy according to the sellers guide and it was way, way too big. Not only that but the Velcro pulled right off the brace when we just tried to open it and see how to work. And now no returns allowed.
