Parts arrived timely and fit nicely. I have a 2008 Chevy 1500 Silverado with 72K miles that is rusting out and with these new frame parts I will get, hopefully, another several years from the truck as long as the rest of the frame system doesn't rust away. brackets did not fit the frame. had to fabricate new ones as the ones supplied with the kit were miss drilled for the 3 inch hole,also the bracket that was welded on had to be cut off as it did not allow enough tubing to go through the right side of the frame. this cost me two and a half EXTRA hours of labor plus material that I had to eat as I already quoted the job. I WOULD NOT RECCOMED this to anyone. Dorman products have always made good products in the past. I own a fabrication shop that does race car chassis. before I buy this kit again I will fabricate one from scratch I would save time and money. Frank Pastuch F.P.R.C. This does not fit well. It does not have the factory bends. I generally like Dorman products in that they are usually well made. This one is solid but it is not shaped correctly. They call it an "improved" design. News flash to Dorman, it isn't. I rust proofed it before I pulled the bed off and couldn't return it. I would have scrapped it if I could of obtained a better one quickly. Check yours and if it is not straight (and I doubt that any are) you are better off with another brand. Read more
