First off... it is a Dorman product. I am a retired Mastertech and started working in the late 60s. The very first non-vehicle manufactured part company that I was introduced to was Dorman. Since then, I have never doubted their products in any way. Happy to see that they are still exact copy products that fit perfectly. They do, however upgrade some products when there is a need. On this tank there is one upgrade that should be a good upgrade. That being, the tank is coated with a rust resistant material inside and out. The tank still looks the same but has this much appreciated upgrade. As to the tank itself. It is an EXACT replica of the original in every way. A perfect fit with no hassle to install. The only real noticeable change is the "Made in Taiwan" embossed on the side. This is hidden when installed so will not deter from your restoration. Comes with the tank and large "O" ring and clamp for the sender. (If you do not find the "O" ring or clamp, look under the end flaps as they taped them in a plastic bag between the end flaps on one end. As nature would have it, I opened the end that did not have it and only found them when I was collapsing the box to discard. This was a perfect tank for my needs at a reasonable price. It came quickly so I was able to put my car back into service quickly. Read more

Had to debate wether to have it installed or not was paying for shop space . The Original Sending unit dos not fit . TANK is Sold Smaller than Original 1 & 1/4 inch Smaller the Hole length. All So The insert hole for the Sending is Bigger . Was Way Un Happy this time With dorman . Had to have installed to get car out of shop .
