Have owned the big brand name stuff but could not afford it this go-round. This was a little more than I wanted to spend but anything less looked like one-and-done junk. I took a chance on this after reading a positive review and I am glad I did. Not as much torque as the red brand I had before. It that’s not what this is for. It’s perfect for slow and steady and charge lasts great for me. My new go to. The quick bit rotation thingy is useful to me. Saves me time. I am a little impatient when it comes to changing out bits! Screwdriver review Feels quality although a little heavier than the Black & Decker and not as comfortable in my back pocket. It has a little better torque but a hair trigger that I wish had more resistance. I like the fact that the light comes on when the motor is rotating as opposed to Black & Decker where it has to manually be turned on and the switch is in an inconvenient location. Also the forward/reverse button is easier to get to. Unlike others, the 3 position pivot push button switch from angle to straight is simple and handle doesn’t rotate. Charging is a no brainer as it uses just a standard usb cord (mini to A) with no adapter needed. I like the multi color selection also offered by this and other brand names but the same unit. As yet, I don’t see the use for the secondary light at the base. The set of bits that come with it has a multitude of unusual types but can fall out of the case. In the end, I’m glad I donated my Black & Decker to a plumber so I can buy this one for the same price. Read more

I had high hopes for this driver: o-Very convenient forward/reverse rocker switch–check o-Carries bits with driver–check o-Plenty of torque for tough cases-check o-Universal recharging port-check o-Red light for charging and green light for charging complete-excellent X-Handy light for use in dark spaces–not so much. It does have a light, but the light comes on with trigger press and goes out with trigger release. In real-life use, that means you can’t actually use the light to, say, position a screw at the point where you need it unless you can put two hands there, a rare case. Hate to say this but that’s just plain stupid. All of my other similar devices allow the light to stay on for 5 to 10 seconds after pressing the trigger. Aside from that, although it’s larger than I’d like, the other advantages outweigh the size issue, and it comes with both an extender and an extra-long extender, a very nice add-on. Some of the other features, such as a window to see the bits stored when the pull-out carrier is pushed in and the toolbox it all comes in, seem totally unnecessary.
