Soft scent, great ratio of liquid-to-suds
I haven't always been a fan of Dove liquid body wash because of how thick/creamy it is - which is a personal preference. However, I was shopping via phone app and needed something quick and not overpriced until I could get to a big-box store to sniff things out. I honestly have no brand preference - I look at consistency, how long it stays sudsy on my shower pouf, aroma, and price per size. At the time of purchase, this one was priced well so I decided to try it and I was very pleased. The scent is light and floral but not heady or overwhelming. I prefer scents to be light, not fruity or musky - again, personal preference. The liquid was not so sticky that I had to shake and squeeze the bottle to get it out, nor was it so runny that tipping it upside down created a waterfall of liquid overpour. When I upturned the bottle over my pouf, the product fell towards the spout and a gentle squeeze game me enough product to lather my entire body. I felt that the lather was "thick" from ears to toes - I didn't "run out" of lather at the end of my shower. At the same time, the suds did not rinse off of me and overwhelm my drain. It was the perfect blend, and this may all sound crazy but they are things I've noticed. The bottle is too big/heavy for my 10-year old to manage so it's pretty much MINE in the shower.
