This is the best body wash I've ever tried for truly luxurious feeling moisturized skin. Dove created this line specifically for women going through menopause and feeling symptoms of dry itchy skin -- they never miss! I've tried many body washes across different prices and this is SO much better than the more expensive oil body washes out there that claim to do it all. I moved from a super humid area to a super dry area, and my skin is SUFFERING. My skin was so uncomfortable that I knew I needed some kind of shower oil. This stuff is really nice. This body wash has been a game changer for me. I have very dry skin that itches a lot... During the winter it gets worse. I got this Dove body oil body wash and it helps more than I could have imagined. I don't have to put extra body oil on after my shower anymore. The itch is all but gone. One of the best purchases I've made. I'm a product junkie, high maintenance, and I like high end products. I've spent a fortune purchasing the most expensive products money could buy. I live in a very dry climate, and my skin is not aging well. IAt my age I have a host of "health annoyances" that contribute to my skin and hair issues. My skin is now extremely dry and getting tissue paper thin. My veins are protruding, I bruise easily, and parts of my body are full of patches of crapie and blotchy skin. My clothes and sheets are alway full of flaky dead skin. I used to have smooth and silky skin. Not anymore. This body oil wash leaves my body feeling noticeably smoother when I get out of the shower, especially my arms, legs and chest area. It's not a miracle product. But I'm shedding less, and my skin feels smoother and softer. I also use moisturizers and oils. I did mention my skin is high maintenance. I used Dove products years ago, and it was always a good product. The product is as good as it's gonna get, and it's very affordable, especially compared to other products I've tried that cost 3-4-5 times as much. High end products smell good, and feel good, but none of them leave my skin this soft and smooth. This body wash is not a hiyp. It really makes my skin feel better. The other reviewers that convinced me that the price tag was worth it were right. If you feel like crawling out of your own skin and feel unable to function normally, try this. I was desperate for relief but nervous about slippery surfaces for other members of the household. Though noticeable, slip factor dissipates quickly. Combination of suds and moisture saturation is unique. Scent is lovely- not overpowering. Initially used daily but get decent results with occasional use now that my PH is back in check. Worth IT! This is an average body wash, but does not moisturize as well as advertised. I have very dry skin, and am sensitive to string scents (allergic to lavender, too). This had very little scent, and it didn't linger after the shower. Luther was nice, considering it is advertised as an "oil". However, other moisturizing body washes just work better. I also didn't find that the bottle lasted very long, and it was a little pricey compared to others I've used. Not a terrible product, but I won't buy it again. Read more
