In order to reach my back, I need a tool like this in the shower. I also want something that will scrub my back to remove any dead skin, etc. This back scrubbing applicator does a superb job of really cleaning my back. I was hesitant because I thought it might be weak because it is plastic, but the construction of the brush is very sturdy. The two different pads that come with it stay on securely and don't come loose. The fold-out handle is very strong and snaps into the open position when opened. It appears that there is a mechanical hinge under the plastic to ensure that it doesn't become floppy or loose at the hinge. The rough brush really cleans my back, it is exactly what I needed. This brush is made of heavy-duty plastic. It really does a great job, and you can use it as a back scratcher. I highly recommend this brush. It is well-made, and it appears it will last reliably for years. It has sufficient length, so you can reach every area of your back easily. This is probably one of my recent best finds. I struggle with dry skin and can’t reach my whole back myself. This allows me to put on lotion with ease and get my entire back without a struggle. Wish I would have bought one sooner!! The brush size is great for the back area, the lotion stays on the rubber and doesn’t fall off when moving, it’s easy to clean, and folds away for storage. Very functional and a great value. The handle length gives you an excellent range for application. The slight curvature works well whether reaching from the top or bottom of your back. I suppose it is necessary to prevent it from releasing the opened position, but I found it "resistant" to opening up from folded position - felt as if I might break it to open it. Read more
As a disabled older person who gets the "yucks" whenever I have to apply creams or foams by hand, this came at just the right time. I was given a magnesium foam that I wanted applied to my legs front and back. The backs of my legs were particularly hard to reach, especially without getting the foam on my arms and clothes. This applicator reaches all the spots for me with its swivel head and the foldable handle gives me extra reach for my back. This is an awesome little tool. Not flimsy, either. The fact that it folds in half is a plus for me. Several uses for this applicator. Well worth the money spent .
