This product definitely works great to lift hair at the roots! The pump delivers a fine mist of powder that you can apply directly to the root areas. The fragrance is very nice, and since it is a powder, it does not interfere with your hairstyle. I have tried other styling powders before at lower prices, but this one adds a style to hair that I have not seen before. I highly recommend this one, even though it may seem high-priced. Other reviewers have complained about this texturizing powder causing dullness and/or leaving a white powder hue in their hair. These people are not using the product correctly. Texture powder products are to be used in the under layers of hair at the scalp, not on top. Blend it into your scalp with your fingers and the white hue vanishes leaving the texture behind. A finishing spray is the only thing that should go on top. The pump on this product allows for super easy and precise application which I prefer to tapping it on like similar products and it only takes 3-5 pumps. My wife loves trying new beauty and hair products. She has used the brand before and wanted to give it a try. She assumes being a powder it could be a great lightweight solution to volumizing hair. It is a white powder with a pump. The directions say to pump 6 inches away from your roots. My wife pre-pumped it a few times to make sure it was working. Powder was coming out very minimally which was great but on the second pump to her roots a huge amount shot out. We guess this was the regular pump and she just hadn’t done it enough times to begin with. She has very dark hair and it was incredibly difficult to get this to blend or “massage” in as the directions read. Just that 1 pump was too much for all of her hair, unfortunately. Her hair is long and thick, it’s just a massive pump. She tried to brush some out and made it work. Later she ended up with her hair up and when she put it back down and ran her fingers through it she wondered why it felt so strange and remembered the new product. This powder gave my 2nd day, air dried hair great volume and even created some texture to make my hair look styled! My hair is baby fine and thin, so that's pretty hard to do!! I wasn't sure what to think of this at first because I've not really had great luck with non-aeresol powders, but this one actually worked pretty well, and I'm happy to be without the chemicals that the aeresol ones have. I only needed a few pumps, applied about 6 inches from my scalp, but toward the roots, used my fingers to rub it into my hair, and my hair was good to go for the day! Read more
Hard to take a pic but even at 6” away (or farther) and the lightest half pump possible, I get specks of white powder on my face and scalp. They are easily rubbed away but you have to be SUPER careful with this product. It is NOT always a fine mist of powder but drops of it sometimes. There is definitely a learning curve to using this product. The powder lightens my naturally dark hair color and dulls the natural shine and gloss of it. It makes my hair look “old” if that makes sense. I do like the texture and volume it adds to my fine hair and I do love the travel friendly size of the product but I’m not sure I’m ready for fluffy, old lady hair. I DO think this may be better suited for blondes and other lighter hair colors. Read more

My hair is fine and often quite flat so I was excited to try this powder. It’s white but doesn’t discolor my hair even though it’s dark brown, it also has a lovely scent to it. The spray works great and it was easy to distribute it at my roots. I then flipped my hair over and massaged my scalp for a few seconds and wow the volume is incredible! It leaves my hair feeling a little bit dry when it’s on but it washes out easily. If you have fine hair like me then this along with a blowout will make your hair look amazing! I really like it. I was not impressed with this product. It didn't keep the body or lift in my hair for very long. It also left a oily feel to my hair! I think dry shampoo works better than this did. I don't have a lot of hair but my hair usually holds curl well and works with other products, but this one just didn't work on my hair. Read more
