I LOVE these shoes! I receive so many compliments every time I wear them, even from strangers! They are my absolute favorites and I'm so glad I bought them. You should by them, too! But there are a few things you need to know: First, these run really big. I am a size 9 wide, and I ordered the 8 and it is perfect. If your foot has any chub like mine does, buckling them for the first time will be a nightmare. It took me 15 minutes. I nearly gave up, but I got them done and they go on and off without unbuckling them. Second, they are heavy. The soles/heels on these things are substantial, to say the least. I do notice this a bit if I'm doing a lot of walking but if I'm hanging out at my desk for most of the day, it's really not a big deal. These are pretty comfortable and easy to walk in, despite the heel height. The platform helps a lot with that. Really, though, I love that they are just the slightest bit edgy while still being office appropriate. I read every review trying to figure out my size. I am normally an 8 everywhere else in US sizes. I have never ordered Dr. Martens in UK sizes before. I ended up measuring my foot and going by the size chart, which said I was comfortably a 6. Ordered the 6 and my toes were smack up against the end of the shoe. I guess you could say they technically fit. But they were not comfortable. Then ordered a 7 and they fit great! I would say if your normal size is a half size, go down one and a half sizes. If your normal size is a whole size, just go down one size unless you like your shoes to fit like they were molded to your feet. Aside from the sizing they are heavy but the weight doesn't bother me because the quality is outstanding. And oh my are they cute! I wear a lot of jumpsuits and these really complete the look. Dream shoes, beautiful and comfortable, I have like 12 pairs of martens so I was sure of the quality. They are big, at least one size but, I ordered 9 which is 41 in EU, so I’m glad I didn’t size down cause the next down size is 8, which is a 39 in EU. I rather wear them with ticker socks and when you strap them, they are secure, at least mine don’t move. I may buy an insole, but for the moment they are great. Read more

super cute shoe for the collection! easy to walk in but i havent worn for a full day yet so ill update this review once i do if my mind changes on that. a little heavy but high quality. cons- the sizing is super odd. i will say, i didnt read the sizing chart and just ordered based off the size of other docs i own and that was my bad. normally im a 7.5 in any other shoe, and size up to 8 in docs but these aren't boots so the 8 was huge and ended up returning for the 7. They fit fine with socks but are too big without socks which is slightly annoying. Ill probably end up buying padding for the heel to wear without socks but I really wish they made half sizes. they aren't very comfortable but thats docs and im sure will change with break-in. These are the cutest of my collection. I love Docs and for the price these are totally cha-cha-chonky cute! They are heavy out of the box but do not feel heavy on my feet. I’ve worn them for day long events and been comfortable. I was concerned that the cut out at the top of the shoe might cause pain but I wear socks so for me it wasn’t an issue. I did get a blister just underneath my big toe on the ball of my foot, but it was my fault, I wore nylon and lace dress socks, which allowed my feet to slide around just enough. Because I like my socks, I went and got a small clear soft rubber insert that fits into that part of the shoe and they’ve been fine since. I’m a size 8.5 -9 in regular shoes but in some docs I can sometimes wear either, though I’m glad I read reviews, these are generously sized and ordering a size 8 worked great (with that little insert). If you’re between sizes I recommend going the next size down. But get these if you’re looking, they are great. Read more

My most favorite pair of shoes at the moment. They are extremely comfortable & can dress up and down. I will forever be a huge fan of Dr. Martens. I would suggest sizing down one size because they do run a little big, as do most Dr Martens. I typically wear a size 8 but a size 7 fits perfectly. Read more

Amazing shoes, even better than I hoped. Great quality, very pretty, and, most importantly, they are very comfortable. I am usually size 9-9,5. Ordered size 8, and they fit perfectly on a thin sock/pantyhose (as I intended). For thick socks I guess 8,5 would have been better. Wore it to work without breaking in and they did not give me any trouble. Though I have not tested them on long distance yet, maybe will need some breaking after all. But if you are familiar with Dr. Martens boots, these shoes are definitely much more forgiving than many other models. Read more
