My holy grail insoles 🙏

I am fat and these are the only insoles I'll use. I had no idea how important foot support was until I got these. I first bought them years ago because my feet were hurting so badly at work that I could barely keep up. My pain level was cut in half the day I put these in my shoes, and within a couple weeks of wearing them the pain was gone. Even my back pain was improved. I would recommend these to any fat person who spends a good chunk of their days on their feet. Even if you don't have pain, these make shoes 100x more comfortable. The arch support is high and very hard, which can feel a little awkward at first but makes walking so much better, especially if you have flat feet. They're a little tougher to get in the shoe than most insoles, just because the arch support is so firm, but it's still an easy process. They don't last forever, but they hold up longer than most insoles at this price point. I honestly wish I could give these extra stars. Read more

Awesome Arch Support and Cushion!

These Dr School’s heavy duty support insoles did not disappoint. Right out of the package, I could feel the difference from the quality, support and thickness of these inserts vs the insoles that came with the shoes. I got these for a pair of OC sneakers, which were not cheap shoes. However, surprisingly the insoles were not thick and it made them uncomfortable. I got this inserts in an attempt to make them more comfortable, and not necessarily for the arch support. These have a lot of cushion to them in the arch and the sole, making your shoe incredibly comfortable. It was like walking on a cloud! They had to be cut down to size, but it was easy to do with a simple pair of kitchen sheers. The insoles were marked on where to cut (from side to side) based on your shoe size. They fit the shoe like a glove. I like that they came for a range of sizes and functioned as expected! I recommend these Dr Scholl’s inserts for their value, quality and durability. They were comfortable for extended use and priced right. My feet felt great!!! Read more

Great for construction boots

I’m on my feet all day, and spending hours in construction boots can really take a toll. I was looking for something to add a bit more support and cushioning, and these insoles have made a noticeable difference. They fit well into my boots without making them feel too tight or bulky, and from the first day, I could tell my feet weren’t as tired by the end of my shift. They’re true to size, which I appreciated—no trimming or adjusting needed. Once they’re in, they stay in place and don’t shift around at all, even with all the walking, climbing, and standing I do. There’s a good balance of firmness and comfort—they feel sturdy enough to handle long hours on tough surfaces, but still provide that extra bit of relief I was missing. They've held up well so far, even with daily wear. Definitely a solid addition if your work involves being on your feet for long stretches. Read more

Squeaky Yet So Comfortable

I have Timberland safety toe work boots. Anyone that has worn Timbs know how painful it is to wear their boots on concrete for 8+ hours a day. I actually had to stop wearing them after 2 weeks. They’ve sat at my front door for months, until this week. I purchased these a bit skeptic because the pictures show a fairly thin pad. I was wrong! Definitely very comfortable and my feet don’t hurt at all after spending 8-10 hours on concrete and walking anywhere from 5-8 miles a day. I have flat feet and typical arch supports are painful. However, these give just the right amount of support that I don’t even feel it. I’ve only had them for about 4 days, so I don’t know how long they’ll hold up, but for the price you can’t really go wrong. I only have 1 complaint. When I walk, the insoles squeak. It’s fairly noticeable because I was walking through the Dr’s office today and people were looking at me, but I’m the type of person that doesn’t care. I’ll take physical comfort over slight awkwardness any day. Read more

They work well but make shoes stink

I weigh over 200 lbs and these insoles worked quite well for me. My normal "athletic shoes" had a paper thin insole with virtually no padding. After wearing these a couple hours my feet felt good and previous strain cramps in my calf disappeared. The big knock I have (which is why the 3 stars) is that after wearing for about a week, my shoes stunk. The stink was entirely due to these insoles -- take them out and the shoe smells fine. If they weren't so good, I would have disposed of these already. So instead, I toss these into the washer with the laundry once a week and after they air-dry a bit I liberally spray them with Lysol then let them dry fully in the sun. This keeps the stink under control but I'm sure it will decrease lifetime significantly. It's a shame they can't put an anti-bacterial additive into the rubber -- there are plenty available. So, if you buy these make sure you also order a can of Lysol to go along. Read more

Surprised and Happy with Purchase

I'm surprised because Dr. Scholl stuff is usually cheapie, throw-away materials after a short use. These things are nice! They are working great. I am 220 lbs and 6'3" and have terrible foot pain. I've been able to fit these in 80-90% of my shoes and they feel very good. Some dress shoes can not take an insert, but all of my casual shoes and boots do and this makes it a good investment.
