I bought these boots to wear with my outfit for a concert. I knew we would be walking a little distance to the Theater, so I was hoping they were both waterproof repellent and comfortable. They were classically styled which fit in with my outfit. I found them fairly comfortable. I wore thick socks to that helped with the cushioning. I don't have any problems with my arch so I can't really speak of how supportive the arch is. It rained after the concert when we had to walk to the parking garage, but the boots kept my feet nice and dry. They looked really cute on with my outfit as well.
