I bought these boots before a trip to Italy and did not have to break them in. I was worried about the pointed toe but they fit perfectly and do not rub/cause blisters or discomfort. I wore them on the cobblestone streets in Rome and and walked on the concrete in Venice and they were comfortable. It is hard to find a stylish boot that is also comfortable and this is the one!
