Bourbon barrel scent is kinda funky smelling. Not terrible but it seems to have an overwhelmingly chemical sweet smell. As far as the deodorant aspect it is fine. No irritation to the skin but it’s kinda like a paste going on. Once applied it does have a soothing effect on the skin. Hasn’t caused any staining to any of my shirts and after about 10 hours or so the funky smell begins to lessen. That smell isn’t totally offensive but might take some getting used to.
