Two epic and fun adventures in one package, complementing last year's HD-2D remaster of Dragon Quest III. These are remakes of games from the NES era, but enhanced with more content, spectacular graphics, a full symphonic soundtrack, and gameplay optimized for modern standards, making them a nostalgic yet modern experience. I bought the Switch 2 version; the game key card works perfectly, and I can easily lend it to a friend or family member, who can then play the game on their own console. Read more

Brings back the nostalgic feeling
This game has been something that I can’t put down. I’ve already spent 50 plus hours on it . It’s that good and between both parts, you just want to keep playing. The scenery is beautiful, the story is great and the upgraded mechanics are a vast improvement. I beat the Dragon Quest 3 HD2D remake and having a save file for that, gives you some items in the beginning of this game that are extremely helpful, especially for part 1 since you’re alone without a party. Overall it’s an amazing game. I didn’t get to play the original Dragon Warrior games but I can see why they were so loved. 10/10 Read more
Two classic games finally remade.
Just like Dragon Quest 3 HD2D Remake; they once again have done an outstanding job with these two games. I never got around to play the first three games and I'm so happy that they are remade in this vibrant and beautiful HD2D style. I'm going to take my time with these two games especially Dragon Quest I. I've been a huge fan of this series since Dragon Quest VIII, and I'm eager to see what other games in the series that they will remake or remaster. Read more
Excellent game that's even better than the originals.
I loved playing these original games when I was a kid and these remakes are even better. The extra skills and spells they've thrown in really make the game play better.And the music is A+ in quality. Storyline is great, so pick these games up, you won't regret it. Read more
