I have lipedema, and my legs can swell 2" in a single day. My calves (biggest diameter measurement) are currently 18," and these boots fit like a dream! There is no pinching, and I'm pretty sure the stretchy back panel could accommodate another 1-1.5" of swelling. I am tall with a 35" inseam, and these go right to my knees--another win! They are very comfortable, and my standard size 10 is perfect. Normally wide calf boots tend to be too wide in the foot area. I have an average-sized foot width, and these feel just right. Love these boots. Great for thick thighs and the quality seems great ie zipper and leather for boots and they were very comfortable for extended periods. Yah!
