I have been traveling weekly in the car & have enjoyed using 1 or both. This hanging bag is a lightweight material, and wide enough to hold a lot of clothes. Although it’s a lightweight material, it seems to be well made & sufficiently protects the clothes. I like the pockets at the bottom on the front for shoes or last minute items. It has loops on each end to easily fold & is easy to carry. Great price/value for a casual hanging clothes bag for your closet or road trips. Likely not heavy enough material for plane trips. I was genuinely astounded by the amount of clothing that these bags can hold. The compartment for the shoes was particularly well-designed, accommodating four pairs comfortably. The material is quite sturdy, and it’s easy to bend without crushing the clothes. I bought this to store and transport via road trip my two-layer wedding gown, and it worked perfectly. The length was more than enough, and I was able to fit my veil and accessories in the built-in pockets without any issue. I also appreciate the thoughtful design, there’s a handle on the opposite end so you can fold the bag in half and hang it at half the size, which makes storage and carrying much easier. The material isn’t super thick, but it feels durable enough for the purpose of protecting clothing from dust and travel. It’s lightweight while still keeping the gown safe and wrinkle-free. Pros: Fits long gowns easily (65”) Extra pockets for accessories Handle for folding in half for easy hanging/storage Lightweight but sturdy Cons: Material isn’t heavy-duty, so it may not be ideal for frequent long-distance travel Overall, this bag did exactly what I needed it to do. While this bag has plenty of room, and was sturdy enough, the handles are not located so that you can fold the bag over and grab both handles to pick it up. Also, there are no latches or straps to secure the bag in a folded postion, so it flops open when set down and is hard to pick back up. Other similar bags have straps to secure the bag in the folded position, and the handles then stay together when the bag is set down. Overall, just disappointed in the travelability of this bag. It did hold a lot, including all of our dress clothes for several formal events, and two pairs of shoes in the shoe pockets. Read more
Arrived exactly as described and in a timely manner. My last one (a different type) was no longer useable after its zipper broke. So I purchased this to replace a really old one. This one is much sturdier, but not waterproof. Used it on a cruise, for my formal wear. I love the placement of the handles, as it makes it easy to fold it up, without wrinkling the formal wear inside. This held 8 items easily. Though I do use a rubber band to keep all the hangers together and not have any one slide down. I used one of the bottom pockets for a formal handbag and the other for formal shoes.
