It is not a sweatshirt, but a really nice, long-sleeved, slightly heavier knitted shirt. It's quite comfy! The fit was good, a little on the loose and slouchy side, which is what I want for a sweatshirt-style shirt. The sleeves are a little long, and the band that goes to the wrist is wide, so it slides easily over the hands. That did not bother me. I'm 5'5", 165lbs & wear a regular size 12 pant & L/XL tops. It's a cute long sleeve shirt. Definitely not a true sweatshirt. The material is stretchy & not warm.
