Although I already have a four-wheel walker, I was going to have total knee replacement and doctor wanted me to have a walker with 2 wheels, not four. I really like this one as it was easy to use, simple to fold away and it has a pop of blue on it which makes it look a little more "fun" than the old aluminum ones. I especially liked that I could adjust the height of it, so I could stand upright and not be "hunched over". I had many compliments on it at the hospital, at physical therapy, and when I am shopping. It may not sound like much, but when you are already having some trouble getting around and you're feeling "old and out of it" it's nice to have something that looks a little classy! Read more

Mom now has 2 of these. I guess I'll put one in her car and one in her apartment. It's the one the doctor recommended. It is lightweight and does what it's supposed to do. It folds down nicely and DIDN'T REQUIRE MUCH ASSEMBLY. YAY!! Read more
I’ve been using a walker now for the last year and a half which has helped tremendously but my biggest issue was trying to close the stupid thing when I was by myself and trying to put it back in the car. My hands are very weak so just trying to push the buttons while folding the legs in was a real challenge. Not to mention the fear of pinching my hands in the process. When I saw the Drive walker with the trigger releases I hoped that it might solve my problem. I was also fairly confident in the Drive brand since we have owned several transport chairs from Drive. Plus, I liked the looks—not the old gray utilitarian look (although I do wish it came in pink!). When it came I was delighted! The trigger releases were a god-send—so easy (and safe) to use there is just no comparison!! It looks very nice, too. All in all, this is a great walker and I am so happy I bought it! I did have two small issue and I only mention them in case someone else may have the same problems: The basket I used on my old walker did not work with this one. The old walker had two crossbars in front which kept the basket in place once it was velcroed on. The Drive walker only has one front crossbar so the basket flopped backwards. I bought a new basket that has stabilizers that attach to the front legs, and that did the trick, albeit adding to the expense. The other issue was that the walker is extremely lightweight. That is good, right? Unless you’re like me and every once in a while put a little too much weight in the basket and then the whole thing goes crashing over! (And it wasn’t even excessive weight—my other walker and basket handled it just fine). After this happened a couple times I decided I had to do something so I bought a pair of wrist weights like you would wear for working out and wrapped them around the back legs just above the side crossbars and bingo! Problem solved! (But again, more expense.) Despite these issues I would definitely buy this walker again if for no other reason than those terrific trigger releases!! Read more
This is a nice walker, but mine broke after about a month. The seller made it good, though, so I have no complaints. The replacement is still in action after a year. Read more
My aunt (71 years old) prefers this style of walker because it's easier for her to fold to close...just press easily on the blue "triggers" and it folds up with ease! Unfortunately her insurance doesn't cover this kind of walker, but the good thing is we found it easily on here and for a decent price! Read more

I'm almost 42 and have been getting gout in my foot since I was 29. As I've gotten older, the more frequently I get attacks. Over the years, people have donated crutches to me and at one point I was handed a scooter to where you could rest your knee on. The scooter is probably the best to use, but this walker beats using crutches if you get an unexpected gout attack in the middle of the night and need to use the bathroom, but can't walk on your foot because there's so much pain when you put any kind of pressure on it. It's lightweight, easy to assemble and foldable. On the days I can walk on my own, it helps this is lightweight and foldable that way it's not in the way and easily stowable/accessible next to my bed. This thing can take my body weight, on average 200 lbs while I can only use one foot. It beats trying to hop around on 1 foot around the house any day. Read more
