Solid construction except that it looks like it could have needed a bit more glue on the edges between the blue skin and wood. It's not a big deal for me. If it ever needs glue I'll just add it myself. The bag and sticks are really good. The bag is easy to carry and store. The pad and sticks fit perfectly in it. If noise level is a concern, it will depend on how hard you hit it but it will be quieter than an acoustic drum kit and it beats hitting random surfaces with your drumsticks.
