They had different sizes to be able to fix different types of damage in the walls which makes the value of the price pretty great. The adhesive helps them stick to the wall well, while I started applying my putty. What a great solution! I would have given this 5 stars except that I had some issues with the mesh fraying a bit as I applied the spackling compound. I also wish there was a size in-between the two smallest sizes, since the smaller patches seem to be more commonly needed. Having patched multiple holes of various sizes (doing lots of repairs in the past few months) this would have been a perfect solution. Instead, at the time, on larger holes I tried joint tape (kept moving while applying), stuffing with paper (doesn't make for an even surface), and cutting small pieces to size (painstaking and often frustrating.) But this time, using this product, it was super easy no matter the size of the hole! Love that it has adhesive, love that the mesh supports a coat of spackle, this really is a useful product. I had wanted my GC to handle this repair. It was an old alarm box that he refused to fix because he was concerned it would set off an alarm or some imaginary problem to get out From doing the work. I decided to take it upon myself, so I removed that big bulky box and used these patches to repair the wall on my own. Very easy to use , does exactly but it’s supposed to. I would highly recommend, if I can do it, so can you! Perfect for do it yourselfers! It’s strong durable and works. Adhesive sticks, the metal gives it strength. All you have to do is spackle and sand and paint and it’s like it never happened!!!!! I have another project. I’m getting ready to use them for as well. I trust that this product will work the way it says it will. Don’t hesitate to try it. Update, one year later, the repair looks just as it did when I fixed it the first time. Great for patching large holes in drywall. The patches stick to the wall. The thin, metal makes a hard surface over the hole to be patched. The metal has small holes which will hold the drywall mud making the wall patch strong and smooth after applying at least 2 coats of mud. Sand in between coats and prime before painting.
