Drywall Repair Kit 2 Pcs Spackle Wall Repair Patch Kit with Scraper Wall Mending Agent Large Hole Drywall

This drywall repair kit came with everything that I needed to fix a drywall repair in our pool bathroom. I had to use this drywall repair kit because I accidentally tried to hang up a self adhesive basket (without a level 🤦🏼‍♀️) and upon removing the adhesive strip it ripped off some of the drywall. The patches themselves have enough glue on the back of them to stick to the area while applying the spackle. The two tubes of spackle were perfectly mixed and provided a thick covering and texture to fix the drywall. The spackle is definitely waterproof and once it is dried and sanded it is easy to use paint to cover the repair. In regard to use, I have learned that practice with this kit does make each repair after the other look better then the previous. Also works extremely well on 90 year old wall plaster!! This drywall repair kit is overall a solid and convenient solution for quick wall fixes. The spackle and wall mending agent are easy to apply, spread smoothly, and dry fairly quickly. The included scraper is a nice touch and makes the repair process cleaner and more manageable, especially for small cracks and holes. It worked well on plaster and drywall, and the finish looked decent after sanding and painting. The only downside is the repair patch itself—it didn’t stick properly to the wall and needed extra support to stay in place. Once secured, the repair held up fine, but better adhesive on the patch would make this kit much more reliable. Overall, it’s a good product for minor wall repairs, but improving the patch adhesion would easily make it a 5-star kit. Read more

This is a great little drywall patch kit. And pleasantly surprised with the consistency quality and ease of use. It's packaged so it can be closed up easily and used when needed. The consistency of the drywall is just right and the color is exactly what you would expect. The viscosity is more wet than I was used to working with in bulk. But it surprised me with how easily this was used. I repaired small holes and even one the size of a grapefruit no problem. I do have plenty of experience but I would recommend this kit for anyone who wants a small patch repair kit that doesn't take up a lot of space and gets the job done. Read more

I was trying to patch some holes that were left by a towel bar in my bathroom. Unfortunately, the patching compound that I had was dry and crumbly and would not stay in the hole. The hole was a little bit too big to just fill because the patching compound kept falling in so I bought this kit because it had patches and joint compound and scrapers. This set seemed like a really good value because it comes with a lot of stuff. But the patches had holes that were so big the patching compound squeezed through it like play dough and created shapes like the holes. The hole I was patching was about the size of a pencil eraser, maybe a little wider. I ended up using the patching compound that came with this kit to fill in the hole and sanded it down and added the other patching compound i bought from the big box hardware store over it. I am satisfied with the way the patching compound worked. It went on like toothpaste about the same consistency as toothpaste too. It dried white and sandable. I ended up having to go over the two patched areas multiple times with a white wall primer then my paint color. Overall it was a success and I would buy the patching compound separately again. I did not need large patches and they didn't work with this particular hole or with the patch compound in this kit so I would not buy this same kit again. Read more
