This was awesome! I’ve never repaired drywall before so I was relieved this was easy and the instructions were sufficient and clear. My one complaint is that it was so hard to get the spackle to cover the bumps and ridges. I think it’s a little too thin. If it was thicker I think it would have been MUCH easier. When it dried it had little cracks in it which thankfully sanded away well. Again, I think it’s too watery. That’s why it lost a star from me, otherwise it had everything I needed to fix my wall!! Worked perfectly!we had a large hole in drywall. We had to measure and cut a little so the drywall fit. We were able to fill the hole completely. Plaster was a little runny, and you need all of the tube. We were doing a bigger job at the same time (building a wall), so I bought a separate gallon bucket of multi-purpose plaster/ spackle, and that covered more thoroughly. I had a big hole in my wall from that time I was replacing a toilet and accidentally dropped it on the water pipe it was supposed to connect to, then the water pipe burst. ANYWAY. We had to cut a big hole in the wall to fix the pipe. This kit has everything I needed. It has the saw, the shims, the putty. I really liked that the wall putty came in a tube instead of a tub, since my repair was behind a toilet and hard to reach. It made the application easy. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. This is the first time I fixed a wall, so I think I did a pretty good job using this kit. The drywall mesh tape stuff didn't stick very well. I had some leftover from a different project that I used instead, bcs the stuff it came with kept falling off before I got the putty on it, but I guess you could use the putty as glue and stick the tape to the putty. Good value. I now also have a drywall saw that I can use for any future patches, should I need to. Read more

I am currently using this drywall repair kit for some home DYI. Overall, I would say that it’s a decent product but I do have two issues. First, the screws provided are a bit small. I had to buy longer screws to fix the wood behind the drywall. Second, the amount of plaster that you’re provided with is not enough in my estimation. Apart from those two issues, it’s a decent kit but I probably wouldn’t buy it again. Read more
