I am a life long notebook user. I had got this proticular notebook just looking to try this format. I love the simple black cover and size for use. The paper is wonderful to use and work with also the color and feel are excellent. I use it for writing out story outlines and drawing maps of a fictional world. I was a little hesitant to see such a smaller journal and how I was going to work with it. Normally I was taught in art especially traditional to go bigger! But somehow I much prefer this size than anything I've worked with before! The journal can fit in a purse/mini backpack and there's roughly 30ish pages per journal. The paper is a bit thin not for watercolor. I am not sure how it fairs with marker but it works great with colored pencils!!!
