It does have a chemically smell to it so I'd recommend opening it outside to air out before brought inside. This golf hitting mat is heavy duty and very good quality. It feels solid underfoot and holds up well during practice. The size and thickness are both very good and make it suitable for indoor or outdoor use without feeling flimsy. It ships rolled up, so it did take a few days for the curl to fully relax and lay flat. Once it settled, it stayed flat and was comfortable to hit from. The dual turf design works well for both driving and chipping practice. My only real wish is that the rough section was slightly wider. It works fine as it is, but with repeated use in the same spot, I feel like the rough may wear down over time. Having a bit more width would allow the ball to be moved around more and spread out the wear. Overall, I am very satisfied with this mat and its overall quality. Read more

Seems to be decent quality. It does smell out of the package, so leave it in the garage or outside for 24 hours before brining in doors. It's well padded and seems like it should hold up for a while. It's big enough to stand on and hit off the short grass as well as the rough. Would purchase again. Read more

The mat is definitely being put through the ringer. I've had it for more than a week now and have hit a few hundred balls off it already. The rubber tees seem durable and so does the rest of the mat. I feel like it will hold up to the abuse of being a garage simulator mat. Also, being rolled up from shipment you have to get some weight on it to flatten it out. Read more
