Warning: Not For Clowns!! Great product all the way around - fragrance, consistency, thickness, etc. It def stops sweats and pit stains. Goes on smooth and dry, and doesn't get white smoosh all over yer shirt when you put it on.... ALL their products are good - esp their hair-care stuff - beard care - body gels/soaps - tubs of fragrance goo - etc....!! Would def recommend this product - as well as ANY of their other items! Hub likes this brand. He used another "D.C." for years but has been searching for replacements since. Smells good, but not over powering. Lasts a very long time. Is not sticky and does not leave residue on shirts/etc. Read more
Duke Cannon is the best brand for good smelling aluminum free deodorants that actually work. I’m a big fan of their products especially the deodorant. My only complaint is that even though it says goes on clear it leaves a white stain in the arm put area of my black shirts. Doesn’t seem to damage the shirts as it comes out if you soak the shirts when you wash them. These deodorant have a long lasting scent and do work for me to keep me from sweating. I’ve tried many other brands and they don’t prevent sweating and start to wear off after a few hours. With duke cannon I smell fresh after a long day. I highly recommend this product. Read more
After trying several “safer” deodorants that didn’t quite work for me, I finally landed on Duke’s, and this one has been the winner by far. Every natural deodorant reacts differently depending on body chemistry, but this is the first one that has kept me fresh without causing any odd odors or buildup over time. The texture is great. It goes on smooth without feeling thick or pasty, and it doesn’t leave residue behind. I also appreciate that I don’t feel like I need to “prep” my skin before applying it. It just works the way a deodorant should. The scent is clean and subtle, noticeable enough to smell good, but not overpowering. After a couple months of daily use, I haven’t had any issues with lingering smells, irritation, or having to scrub extra hard in the shower like I did with other brands. Another big plus is the ingredient list. It leans natural without sacrificing performance, which is exactly what I was looking for. Seeing Fragrance in the list is less than desirable, but I was running out of options and this one claims to be "all natural". If you're on the hunt for a deoderant that is "more natural" and paraben free, Duke’s is absolutely worth trying. This has become my go-to, and I don’t see myself switching anytime soon. Read more
I've been using other deodorants trying to avoid anti perspirants with aluminum. The other well known aluminum free deodorant i tried didnt last throughout the day. A few weeks into this, it is working great, we'll see this spring and summer as the temp increases, great smell too. Read more
We love this deodorant. It's the only deodorant that doesn't give my husband a rash. And it is much cheaper on Amazon than it is on their website or at Target. It's very effective and is it sticky. That lasts all day! Read more
Smelled great.. and then didn’t. So I researched it and got answers! My issue with this one (and a similar one) was that it smelled great for about 5ish hours and then would create this *awful* smell, like significantly worse than just not wearing deodorant. And I wasn’t sweating either?! So I looked at the ingredients on both of these and discovered something interesting. Both of them are glycol-based or polyol-based to be more broad. These ingredients are often used to keep product moist BUT certain kinds of bacteria on the surface of your skin can eat these ingredients and create volatile fatty acids. This is basically like a bacteria stink buffet, feeding the bacteria and creating a stink even if you’re not sweating! I don’t blame the product at all, it’s just not compatible with my chemistry, just thought I’d let it be known in case anyone else has the same issue and wanted more info! If you do relate, look into glycol-free products! Read more
