These picks are incredible. This grip is so much better than any other picks I've tried, and they feel super secure in your hand. Especially since my hands tend to get pretty sweaty when I'm playing for a while. The variety is great, and I like to switch between yellows, greens, and blues depending on the sound I'm going for. I love the color-coding system so you know exactly what pick you're picking up. None of that annoying clicky noise you can get with celluloid picks. If you're a newer player, spend the extra cash and pick up a set of these. You might not think there is a difference between these and the super cheap ones you can get, but there really is. Such great value for your money, you won't regret it! Read more
Hubby had them before. Right gauge, perfect shape. Read more
Great option for a new player trying to find the best flex for their comfort level. Also handy for the guitarist with multiple guitars and string sizes. I find I like a firmer pick with a Strat and a more flexible one with a semi-hollow. Experimenting with little things like pick gauge can really make a difference in your playing in ways you might not expect. This little pack gives you a great variety and you can load up on the ones you like best. Even after 20 years of playing under my belt, I still appreciate expanding my horizons whenever possible. Tortex picks are about the best I've ever used. I play them until I lose them, never break or wear out before I manage to misplace! Read more
I'm new to the world of picks. These may be felt, but they are heavy on the starch. I eventually bought some Mick's Picks and they are what I think of when I see the word felt. Very pliable and soft. You can bend them practically in half, yet they are very sturdy and don't flop while strumming or picking. I love those. These are fine for what they are and I may adapt to them, but I wish the pick manufacturers would find a better word than felt. On the plus side they come in six different thicknesses, color coded, and the thicker ones have a nice softish feel. Read more
I bought this mix to avoid guessing which gauge would work as I practice chords and scales. The idea of having two picks of each gauge from .50 up to 1.14 seemed practical for testing light strumming and stronger picking in one go. It’s nice that I can experiment without buying several separate packs. In daily use I keep a couple in the guitar case and a few in my practice area. The pack includes 12 picks total, two of each gauge: .50, .60, .73, .88, 1.00, and 1.14, so I can swap quickly between sessions. The feel stays consistent enough across gauges that switching back and forth never disrupts my rhythm. What stands out is how the gauges really impact tone and response. The lighter picks give a softer attack for rhythm work, while the heavier ones help with precision when I’m moving through faster lines. The grip is comfortable, and they don’t slip during longer practice jams, which I appreciate. A small caveat is that having so many options can slow me down at first as I decide which one to reach for, but that learning curve is short. Overall, this pack delivers practical value for practice and learning, and I’m happy with it as a five star pick set. Read more
I’ve been playing guitar for a few years and it's nice being able to try different thicknesses and see what actually feels best instead of guessing. Perfect for anyone still dialing in their setup or just wanting options on hand. Read more
