I am very happy with this product. The Duraflame, Char-logs are perfect for any BBQ fan. I use it with charcoal chimney, and I put in 5-8 logs. I will say that my food comes out cooked more evenly, the coals stay hot for 3 times as long as the coal rounds I was using and I like the flavor of the food. I don't know how many logs come in the bag but, it is like 14 pounds, and I have used it three times and the bag is still heavy. I plan on using these instead of the other product I was using and anyone that needs a new charcoal should try this one. Read more

These worked great with a chimney starter. I was able to fit about 7 or 8 in mine. I put a sterno under it to get it started as that is all I had as a fire starter and it worked out great. It took about 20-30 minutes for the logs to light up and turn 90% grey. I was able to cook 4 slabs of ribs (I only browned them and finished them on the grill, I baked them in the oven for 1.5 hours on 350° while I cooked everything else), 24 hot dogs, and 16 burgers all with one bag of charcoal. These are great grilling logs. It took a bit of extra effort to light them. However, once they started burning, they really did burn hotter and last much longer than what we’ve used previously. Overall great quality logs and I would highly recommend. Read more
