I'm in the general construction/ carpentry trade and was looking for a new "go to" brand for pants as I was ready to try something different than the previous brand I used for years. The pants were extremely lightweight, more suitable for hiking rather than all day long labor material handling purposes. They were advertised as work pants, but I guess everyone has different ideas of what work is. They are decent pants but for the price I paid and what I was anticipating I do feel a little cheated as I was expecting something that at least matched the ever so popular name brand I've worn for years. I'll keep them for leisure wear but in the meantime I'll continue to shop around. EDIT: No more than a day after my initial review Durawerk reached out to me and offered the reinforced knee work pants they carry free of charge. I am reluctant to say the added knee protection was what I was initially looking for. These seem like durable work wear and I have faith they will hold up to the task I involve myself in daily.
