For about $25 this is probably one of the best security, nest or baby cam you can get. I want to say firstly the camera and other items came in very well packaged. It was neat and properly prepped with foam/wraps to hold it in place. Which allowed it to ship with no flaws which is great. Upon opening the package I was pleasantly surprised to find out how small the camera was. I thought it would be about a size of a small fist or maybe about half an iPhone. But it was actually much smaller than I thought, which was both pleasantly surprising and also a bit worrying because I wasn’t sure if it would be good quality at this size. As I went through the manual which was easy to follow, I downloaded the app it needed and switched the cam on. Which honestly blew me away when I saw the footage. I was fully prepared to see the worst footage I could imagine, something like 240p and highly pixelated. But fortunately it was actually very clear!! The footage was well lit, had good color usage and was basically clear!! It wasn’t like 4k or anything but honestly it could go toe to toe with my ring cameras. I could argue it might even be better than ring cameras… which is honestly crazy to see at this price and size. ! Also I didn’t even think or image this camera having night mode. I didn’t expect it to have night vision and if it did I would assume it would be a cheap quality night vision which still requires a little bit of light. But OMG! It seriously has a great night vision mode! It was true night vision just like other security cameras, it doesn’t require light at all. All the footage you see of me in night vision mode is literally in a pitch dark bathroom. Everything you see is the night vision working so well! All in all it’s mainly got a bunch of Pros and I genuinely do recommend getting this ! But a con I want to point out was that you have to pay for any use of long recording footage. I wished you could just have a certain limit for recorded footage at least, but unfortunately that’s not the case. Then again I mainly use this camera to keep around my room whenever I’m not here incase room mates want to be a bit mischievous. So I wouldn’t be needing the recorded video feature as much so it works out for me. So for the price, the size and also the many cool features like night vision, app control makes it very worth it! I was very pleased with this camera. Thus far I’m not sure exactly how long it will last on its charge but I’ll update if it has poor battery life. Read more

While it is small and light weight, I didn't end up using it. I don't like having to create an account with an off-brand company that I don't know anything about in order to use this camera. I would much prefer an app that is resident in my phone and does not require connecting to some other server to work. I can not in good faith recommend this camera. Use at your own risk. Read more

I got this mini camera to set in my window and keep an eye on my front yard (trying to catch someone who keeps letting their dog poop without picking it up). The camera is tiny, easy to hide on a windowsill, and setup was simple. Motion detection actually does work – it correctly notified me when a delivery driver walked up (though it went off constantly for wind and leaves until I switched to human-only mode). After just a few hours, I uninstalled the app and stopped using it. The free version is live-view only – no recording, snapshots, or playback of motion events unless you pay for their cloud subscription (starts around $0.99 to unlock, ongoing cost unclear). The microphone is incredibly sensitive, which I understand is probably by design since this is sold as a nanny cam and parents want to hear everything. With the camera in my kitchen window, I could clearly hear normal conversations from the living room or even the far end of the house any time I opened the app. I couldn’t find a reliable way to completely turn the mic off, and that felt too intrusive for my setup. The app also asked for full access to photos, videos, exact location, microphone, and more – permissions that didn’t seem necessary just to run a camera pointed out a window. Video quality is grainy and pixelated (not sharp 1080p), two-way audio screeches with terrible feedback, and the short stiff charging cord keeps pulling the camera out of position when it’s plugged in. It does basic live viewing, but the paywall for normal features, the super-sensitive microphone picking up private conversations inside the house, and all the app permissions made me uncomfortable leaving it connected. I’m switching to a no-app trail camera instead. It might be fine for someone using it strictly indoors as a nanny cam and who’s okay with the cloud cost, but it wasn’t right for what I needed.
