Every night I enjoy watching these turn on. I started with the square ones on the deck and then I bought these lights 2 more times since. I have these in my backyard, front yard & side yard. A very inexpensive way that adds beautiful free lighting every night. The only suggestion I have is purchase upgraded batteries. I believe I have 1600 mah versus the 600 ? mah that they came with. These turn on at dusk and I have awoken at 5:30 AM to see them still on with the battery upgrade. Read more

Great idea. Love the flickering setting. But the stands are flimsy. If I touch one with a lawn mower tire the light falls off the stand. Not often. I guess epoxy glue would fix that. I’d buy them again. Read more
Purchased one blue set (& may buy a purple & white set too). Love the color & light it throws. Works fantastically (have had them in the ground about a week). Even placing one where I get a few hours of sunlight a day, it works just as well as the ones that get full sun for many hours. Very sturdy, very bright (especially for a dark blue color) & I’m very pleased with the overall design, size, & protective battery cover. I hope they continue to work this well for years. Not a complaint, but these lights are very bright at a close distance (~10 ft away), which does make the flame effect a bit harder to see. When placed further away, the flame effect looks as it should. Overall, great value for the price. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This video was taken through very dirty winter windows - sorry about that, however....I am so happy with this purchase. I told my husband to plan on seeing them all over our yard, wherever we have enough daylight sun, we live in an area surrounded by woods. I saw in a few reviews that rated them at one or two stars, that people apparently don't know how to use these. It's simple but I also made the same mistakes. The bottom of the stake is not flat,, The pointed end is inside of the stake, you pull it out and put it back right side up so the stake bottom is now pointed. Someone else was showing that during the daytime they were pushing down on these in order for them to work. These are meant to work at NIGHT after they have charged, so the person was in fact blocking the sunlight when "pressing down" allowing these to light, she was only mimicking night time which is when these are supposed to work. One other thing, you need to remove the tag between the battery and its casing or else you'll only see a mild light at night. These don't look like obnoxious flames like those light bulbs that came out a while ago that looked frantic, instead they look like something you would see around a campfire, very pretty and soothing and a lovely warm fire color and motion inside of the lamp. All plastic of course and these are tall, these are not like the dollar store solar lights, I'm 5'6 and they come up to my knee! So they are larger. I can't wait until we are running our waterfall (it's too cold here on the East coast now) so I can lace these throughout the rocks that encase the water. One of my favorite purchases! Read more

I purchased these lights to replace those flickering flame tiki torches. These lights have a very accessible and replaceable rechargeable battery. I know that the battery that came with it will die in a year or so. I wanted to ensure that I could replace it, not like the hard wired tiki torch. They all ended in a land fill sadly because there's no way to replace the battery. I even tried removing the old battery and soldering in a new one but the old battery was cemented in. These lights give off a violet very pleasant and soathing light. I am very happy. Read more
