The Dyson V15 Detect is one of the most powerful cordless vacuums I’ve used. The suction is excellent and it easily picks up dust, crumbs, and debris from both hard floors and carpets. The green laser feature is surprisingly useful because it shows tiny dust particles you normally wouldn’t see. It makes cleaning much more effective. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the battery lasts long enough to clean multiple rooms. Emptying the bin is also quick and simple. Battery died and never charged after two days. Also the package didn’t come with a battery charger so Amazon sent us one (noticed that as soon as we received the packaged and made contact with Amazon. However, I will say the product while working was fantastic and after we receive our refund we will purchase new. In the end you get what you pay for and in our case the product lasted a two days max. Read more

This is my fourth Dyson cordless upright vacuum, and my first Dyson refurbished unit. I already own the smaller V12 Detect which I really like. I also owned a V8, replaced it with a V10 in 2019, and replaced that with this V15 Detect. I have found the V15 to be an excellent upgrade from the V10. The suction is so much better. This is a powerful vacuum, lol. The main body is a little heavier than the V10, but once I start pushing it around, I forget the extra weight. It’s well-balanced when being used. The refurbished condition of this unit is excellent. I didn’t realize that it’s not renewed by Amazon, but that it’s actually refurbished and repackaged by Dyson and sold as Amazon renewed. It’s the same Dyson refurb you would buy at the Dyson website. The vacuum looks brand new except for a few minor blemishes on a few of the tools/accessories. Other than that, everything else looks brand new. The main body, bin, wand, and cleaner head all look brand new. I’m beyond satisfied with the condition. I honestly didn’t expect this to look and run like a new vacuum. For half the cost of a new unit, this is a really, really good value. I will definitely consider another Dyson refurb in the future. I got this vacuum and had it for a 2days. 1st when it arrived it was working good and no issue. Battery was at 20% so I fully charged it and did a test run again. But this time it turned off after 1or 2 sec. I was thinking thats odd.. trying it 4,5time and it worked again. So looked up on internet. People said it was main board issue(capacitor) so I called Amazon and talked with support they told me it was normal. What kind of vaccine do in need to turn on 5,6times to run it?? But Amazon support keep telling me its normal and if I want i can talk to dyson support. So I called ddyson they asked me some questions and they told me it was bad main body unit so they'll send me the new main body. Since its reconditioned(renew) item i guess it can happen. I got this Dyson renewed with an Amazon insurance/warranty plan. I had a Dyson V12 for a while and loved it. I needed a new vacuum and thought I’d get another V12, but couldn’t find any online. Enter the V15. The v15 is bigger, more powerful, and has a different set of cleaning tools that it comes with. It’s easy to use, but I dislike the need to hold down the trigger (because the V12 was a simple on/off as opposed to a constant button/trigger press.) The battery life so far has blown me away, 15+ min more run time than the V12. I have yet to struggle when cleaning my car or apartment. Overall it’s a nice vacuum but I’m not convinced that there isn’t a better option given the price. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good value, but I don’t know anyone who needs a vacuum this powerful and light for every day messes. Read more

Granted I just got this two days ago, but I'm super-impressed. I've had a Dyson V10 Absolute since 2020 and it has been a workhorse, cleaning an apartment and two houses along the way. It finally broke Saturday morning, and when I went to replace it with something similar, the pricing was shocking. Then I found this... All the features I wanted at a price I wanted. When it was delivered, I went ahead and charged it fully before testing it out. I immediately noticed the suction power. VERY strong, and that's coming from a good machine in the past. Like night and day. Did the whole house and was shocked by how much it picked up - especially since we recently vacuumed before the old one broke. Also, I wanted to mention that I thought that bare floor attachment laser was gimmicky on paper, but this thing really works - and well! Great machine that I trust even though it's refurbished. Great value as a renewed product. This replace our old V7 dyson that was still working. Hoping this one will last just as long. Powerful pickup, light is a neat novelty, battery last for the whole 2 bedroom house. Read more
