The media could not be loaded. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! Straight out of the box, it was malfunctioning. It wouldn't humidify at all because it kept thinking the drip tray had overflowed (even though it was completely dry in there). And then I tried to run the recommended deep clean cycle, and it was stuck in limbo on step 1 of the process. I sent it back to amazon and got a replacement, only to have the SAME exact issue on the second unit. Their solution? Send it to Dyson's repair center straight after opening it. Perfect fan + air purifier + humidification of our bedroom. Although I can’t really say that the price justifies the features. Here’s what I feel you are paying for: 1. The Dyson brand itself 2. The Humidifier 3. The Purifier 4. The design and aesthetic look of it. There’s a modern professional feel with the way it looks. 5. The remote and app control using phone via wifi feature 6. The fan itself. Noise level: The fan is a tiny bit loud on full blast. This is either white noise or irritiating depending on who’s using. Smell: Definitely smell eliminating product. The product itself even detects a slight change in air quality. If you are using this close to a kitchen and it absorbs air from what you’re cooking, the product itself will automatically adjust to compensate. I could write a novel here....but no one wants to read a long-winded review of an air purifier. Here are the highlights... *Decent feature set....maybe too many options *I felt that this was just too complicated in the end, but I do appreciate some of the feature functionality and engineering that went into this. *Definitely expensive *It works well and I thought that the noise level and amount of air that is pushed around were pluses. *I really didn't want (or need) the humidifier as I live in FL, but from reading some of the other reviews, it does seem like it's a good combination. I am going to give this feature a thumbs up, even though I don't use it. All in all....it's an interesting machine. I am not sure I can recommend this unless this is in your budget. We have 3 very young children and thought that it was worth it. Not sure I would make the same choice again, but ultimately, it works well so we don't regret ordering this unit. Read more

Do not get this for the humidifier function. I had to get my regular humidifier back out and set up to get rid of my winter dry air and nosebleeds. Disappointed I spent so much on this, will keep for the air purification I guess. Read more
