Wonderful not to have a cord! Lightweight and easy for me and my wife to carry around. We haven’t mounted the bracket yet, but looks like it’s a handy little device to hang on the wall and plug in. Love the turbo part on the vacuum cleaner which really sucks up dust, and dirt. It’s very handy to dump the dust and dirt with the ejector button and all attachments easily snap in and out. The product really works great. It seems to have a lot of suction and is very light (compared to my old vacuum which weighed 24 pounds) I got it on sale so it is a great value for what I paid for it. However, there was no manufacture's users manual. I had to find one on line and it was not for the V9 I bought but for the Dyson Gen5 Outsize. How am I suppose to order replacement parts for the vacuum as there is not much information out there for the Dyson V9. Read more

I love it. I really only use it for my room and my art room and don’t let anyone else use it anywhere else in the house which also helps me not mind the charging. I plug it back in after every use. The suction is actually pretty good on eco mode, I rarely use medium, and the super setting is amazing but you can only use it for 6-10 minutes on full charge. I don’t really have any complaints and it tends to my needs and I’m happy with the purchase. It’s not heavy, I like that it’s cordless, the noise level is t too loud, easy to clean and easy to store. It comes with a rack you can install too (I haven’t installed it as I am waiting to move before doing all that.) Read more

The wheel is a bit clumsy and for an “over engineered” vacuum there are lots of small things (like giving you 4 accessories but a mount that holds two or a filter that requires frequent cleaning with water) but compared to other stick vacuums, this is great at the price point of $240-$270. Picks up dirt very well and the suction can be adjusted though it affects the battery life. All in all a good purchase. Read more

Very convenient for home use. Much easier than traditional vacuum, quick effective cleaning, battery life is more than enough to vacuum my modestly sized home in low or medium power setting. Not the best for vacuuming my car, difficult to reach nooks and crannies and suction isnt sufficient deep vacuuming, but with rotating vacuum head in high power mode, works great on floor mats/broader flat areas. Dust container is small, but emptying container is easy and quick, subsequently may not be suited for larger homes. Read more

The Dyson V9 has completely changed my cleaning routine—in the best way. It’s incredibly lightweight, easy to maneuver, and powerful enough to handle everything from everyday crumbs to pet hair without missing a beat. I will note that if you have animals that shed a lot - buy the Dyson Animal. I've got that too for when the hair is out of control. The battery life is debated in the comments, but its absolutely sufficient for the occasional tidying up of the house. Know your use case before purchasing - if you are looking for a vacuum for your entire home, you'll probably be emptying the reservoir often & should buy something like the Dyson Animal. I purchased this to basically act like a Dustbuster - but one with actual power. The attachments are actually useful, and I love not being tied to a cord. It feels like Dyson thought of every little detail with this one. My floors have never looked better, and cleaning honestly feels so much faster and easier. Great Vacuum at a Great Value for Black Friday. The V9 Vacuum from Dyson was on sale for $270.00 discounted from $600.00. I own two V7 Dyson vacuums that work great. The V9 is so much better. It has battery monitor on the handle of the unit to let you know the life of the battery before it needs to be recharged. It is lighter and sleeker that my other Dysons. Easy to assemble and install the wall mount. The battery is supposed to have a 40 minute vacuum time when fully charged. I get 10 minutes out of each of my other Dyson units. For $600.00 its not such a great deal, for $270.00 its a steal. Get them while they last. Read more
