Got the job done
I bought this when I was working as a mascot for a hockey team. Our costume was primarily a set of hockey equipment, and I wanted a way to help make sure that my socks stayed up and in place as I was climbing, dancing and acting like a fool sometimes. Tape held really well and was super easy to get off when the games or events were over. It did not leave residue either which was a huge plus. I could visibly see sweat on and under the tape as I was taking the suit off each light, but it always held. The one knock is that sometimes it could be a little bit difficult to tear off the roll when wrapping your legs. I would definitely recommend will be buying again myself. Read more
Tape experience
So for the price, you absolutely cant beat it. The tape is really good and it stays in place over socks/shinnys. Now the reasoning on 3 stars. I play hockey 5 days a week in various upper level leagues plus weekend tournaments. Lots of hockey, lots of sock tape. The tape holds up for half a roll-ish and then you run into an issue. At this point (assuming you leave your sock tape in your hockey bag till the next skate) the tape becomes extremely brittle. You cant pull off more than a 5 or 6 inches of the roll without it ripping. Great, now what. That doesnt do us any good right? Overall I ordered 24 rolls, on roll #22 now and have had this issue with each roll, I even tried taking my sock tape put of my bag just to see. Still had the problem. Definitely frustrating trying to get suited up. In warmer-ish conditions the tape seems to do just fine. Spend a few more dollars and get a better quality tape.
