As an RV traveler, I really like these ear plugs for sleeping at campgrounds. They reduce noise well, feel comfortable, and stay in place all night. Feets any ears, good size (my husband can't use ordinary ear plugs, they are getting out, but these ones worked for him) I also appreciate that they are reusable and easy to clean. These work really well, especially for someone with a small ear canal. It really helps to warm them up by rolling them into a ball for 15 seconds (as instructed). This makes them stick in place better and gives a tighter seal to block out noise. Read more
These are the best, other ear plugs hurt my ears terribly (especially foam ones) but these are totally comfortable. I live in a noisy house and use them for sleeping, the noise reduction is great, I sleep the best when I have these in. The one downside is that I really have to make sure they fit just right so they don't fall out and get stuck in my hair at night. Make sure to read the instructions on how to insert them properly. I couldn't get these to stay in my ear at all! They are way to big for my ears. If I dID get it to stay I can feel and hear the gaps left in your ear where noise just cuts right through! I sleep in a room with 3d printers and for the high pitch noise it didn't block that very much at all. It did block low mummbles from my tv running! But not the noises I was trying to get rid of my very old dog also smacks his lips all night I don't have the heart to kick him out of the room! I did like these I just wish there was a smaller version maybe or thinner verson or one with something that went inside the ear more but kept the similar use of it! Like I said they do seek like they work but you have to have the ears for it I got one to stay eventually! It was comfortable and blocked lower pitched noises but I could still hear the ring of cooling fans in my 3d printers like I didn't have anything in my ear! I'll say this also not one ear plug out of the 10 types I bought blocked that fan noise so I'm not sure past putting my fingers in my ears as hard as I can is about the only way to block that noise I've found I've stacked pillow over my head with ear plugs still hear it! So that was my experience! They did offer me a refund also was very nice but I'll keep them! I waited to write this review for months, because a lot of the other reviews had me concerned. I am going to give my totally honest review.... Drum roll... They rock!! The vegpods pictured are the very same ones I used upon first opening this little product in March (it is now August). And I can say without a doubt, they are still 100% usable. And I still have a whole container of them waiting. Which is great, because that's a fantastic value for the cost I spent. I'm going to be honest, I am the worst kind of customer? I don't give two flying partridges about instructions. I wash these with little baby wipe towels instead of soap and water. I sometimes forget to put them on the bag. I find them in my covers and toss them into the bag. I've even lost the buggers for a week, no bag. And they still work fine? Only one of them is starting to tear a bit, but it still works like a dream. Now I will say, they are not 100% soundproof. My partner snores like a wildebeest, and these don't block 100% of the sound. Which suits my purposes functionally well. I don't need them to block all of the sound. I need to be able to hear at least a little bit of white sound to fall asleep, but it does well enough with snoring. I know that if I molded them a bit more, which I have done, it will block all of the sound as they are made to fit and are moldable. However, i don't want them to do that, because again... Worst kind of customer. So the fact that they are moldable is a huuuuuge plus plus plus. They come out of the ear pretty easy, and their appearance is as described. The bag does a lot to keep them going and going and going!! I am confident that they will continue to last and help me get a good night's sleep. I will also add, that I do NOT use them every night. These ear plugs work wonderfully. I will buy this type of ear plug from this brand again - it exceeds the quality of competitors. By that, I mean these remain "stickier" longer than others I've tried before. I'm able to use these for 4-6 nights whereas the competitors last 4 nights at best. If you are unfamiliar with this kind of plug, it is basically wax that is lightly sticky and the wax seals to your outer ear. If you don't get the seal made properly, you will still hear things. for me, I want zero noise, so I'm sure to seal (or reseal in the overnight) before laying down. My sleep quality has improved vastly with these. Easy to put "in/on" and easy to remove in the am as well. To me, they seem weightless and don't bother me whatsoever as I drift to sleep.
