I live in a small town. I have a neighbor that thinks that we live in the arctic circle and believes he needs to warm up his massive pickup truck for an hour each morning. As you can imagine this is the most annoying thing on earth and I had to listen to an idling truck that sounds like a jet engine every morning and it was slowly driving me crazy. Fantastic product drowns out the annoying sounds of rednecks that have no common courtesy Read more

I'm not sure if my ears are cursed or if I just need to buy better earbuds but these worked just okay. The good: -Comes with a case and a few different sized ear gels to allow for the right size of your ear. - form factor that makes it relatively comfortable to lay down with, but over time, can agitate your ear if you're a side sleeper. - Good quality and durability if if fits well. The bad: - If you have dry ears like me, they won't sit in there. I had to get a little moisture on the gel to keep them in - Sound muffle is good but it requires you to jam it in. Overall, a nice set but I probably won't be using it too often. Read more
Believe it or not, I'm writing this review in a noisy bar on karaoke night. It's 95 dB in here, and even louder when the people around me start singing along. Talk about a real-world test! Yes, I'm wearing these earplugs, and they are making the sound level bearable. I've used a variety of earplugs, so I have quite a few to compare these to. First of all, they are comfortable. I can tell they're in my ears, but they're not bothering me too much (and I hate feeling things in my ears). They are small and sit more or less flush with my head, so they aren't too uncomfortable to wear to bed as a side sleeper. I especially appreciate that they are both the same shape, rather than having a left and right plug, so I don't have to squint at them and figure out which is which - I can just pop them in. They should be infinitely reusable so long as they're cleaned regularly. For the noise reduction, they seem to be dampening sound across the frequency spectrum more or less equally. Some earplugs have a curve where the frequencies of the human voice are less reduced, but these don't appear to. This makes them less ideal for carrying on a conversation when the music is blasting, but better for sleeping or just reducing sensory input from the environment and avoiding overstimulation. The sound reduction is clean; I can tell that it's filtering rather than merely blocking, as the sound that comes through isn't muffled and I don't hear my own voice echoing in my ears. I can hear everything that's going on, just much more quietly. The carrying case for these is very nice. It opens easily, yet stays closed when you close it. There's a small loop to attach it to a keychain, which I will probably do because it's good to have earplugs handy for unexpectedly loud environments. Overall, these are a good knock-off of the loop style earplugs they're styled after. I will probably wear them regularly at work; the guys in the next row of cubicles frequently forget their "indoor voices." Read more

Hurts ear to use these ear plugs. Does not reduce noise by much. Read more
These ear plugs made a noticeable difference in how sound‑sensitive I feel at night. They’re soft, fit comfortably, and don’t bother me when I shift around in bed. With the provided different tip sizes, I found one that stayed put without feeling too invasive. I’m sleeping quieter and waking up less from ambient noise. Read more
I am reviewing this item for free as an Amazon Vine reviewer. I really appreciate the 5 choices of eartips in this kit. I got this for my child who plays an instrument and I want them to protect their hearing, but also still be able to discern notes and hear instructions. The backside ring of the earplugs are well designed for ease of insertion and removal from your ear; these are the easiest set of earplugs I have ever used on myself and on my child. My child says it's easy to put these in & out which is a big deal because it's been so hard to find a pair for them. The silicon is very soft and conforms to your ear canal well. The material is durable and these should be reusable for a long time; though the instructions claim a 3yr life on the materials. The larger size plugs will do a better job blocking frequencies, but may come at the cost of comfort for long periods of use. The construction is very similar to an earbud silicon tip on wireless earbuds and blocks noise similarly to how your in-ear earbuds do. The backside ring does not have any holes in it to allow some noise to go through them like a pair of loop plugs do. Overall, from a SNR standpoint, I don't feel like they block out a lot of noise like a foam pair of ear plugs do. So If you're looking for something that will block out a lot of loud noise, these are not the set to get. I am removing two stars because of this fact. These are a good solution if you find it hard to find earplugs that fit well and are comfortable for long periods of use at the expense of having really good sound reduction. But, these are good to be able to have a conversation still and reduce the sound levels your ears are exposed to like a musician encounters. Read more
