Customer Service is the best! Product is really good
This review is in two parts and is rather long. The first is about support and customers service and the second part is about the product itself I am writing this in two parts because I feel i need to call out the customer service for this product and you will see why if you continue reading this section. I received the product and when I initially opened the box and checked the contents I saw that I was missing parts. Normally I would have sent it back to amazon and ordered another. However in the box there was a card stating if there was any issue to contact the service department and i thought I would see how they reacted while still keeping my option of sending it back to amazon open. I sent an email explaining my issue to the designated email address and was surprised because within an hour (do not know if it was because i hit the time when my time zone aligned with their customer service time zone) i received an answer from someone called Shouhou who asked for further descriptions on my issue. I replied with what I thought would be sufficient details and off it went. The next day we exchanged 2 more emails one of which I included a picture of the contents of the box . The next day Shouhou sent me an email and said that the fix was in the mail and sure enough in 3 days I received the solution to my issue and then some. I cant say thank you enough at the respect and kindness i received and they truly lived up to their statement about customer support. Now on to the product review I wear hearing aids and because of this I get a buildup of ear wax, which impedes hearing and is hard to clean off the hearing aids. I saw this product on Amazon and thought it was a gimmick (I used bulb type ear wax removal products before and they never worked) I read the product description and did some other research including talking to my audiologist and decided to try it out. I found that the product was a bit clumsy trying to use the device while placing the cup intended to catch the water exiting the ear and keeping the device aimed correctly. So i tried using it while i was showering and without the cup it was much easier. In addition the shower assisted the process because the climate in the shower was much warmer and that assisted the removal process. It is a bit unnerving placing the tip in your ear and using the high power mode however I found that the soft and medium modes worked well for me. The results are exceptional! I found i do not get the muffled sound as much as i used to. The hearing aids come out clean ! Lastly the product gives you a visual display as to the temperature of the water you place in the device. I found that i liked the best temperature for wax removal to be about 102 degrees vs the 98.6 that is recommended. Cleaning the device is as easy as opening the water well and draining the remaining water. It is battery operated and I used in the shower although the literature does not state that. Read more
