Not great for travel because of the open sides, but works like a charm to organize my post earrings
When I first received this stud earring organizer book (in beige) I was skeptical. It was flat pieces of a pleather-like material with holes in it for the earrings and a snap to hold it together, and it didn’t fold flat. But then I started putting my earrings in it and realizing the little details. The holes are not aligned, and the flaps at some of the holes are also staggered, so earrings don’t rub on each other on facing pages. There is a pocket on one side so I can tuck my extra earring backs that I keep in a little bag in the pocket. The pleather type material is nice and strong to hold my earrings without tearing or the holes warping, which is especially important for a few pair of my earrings that have tiny little stones and could fall out if the hole stretches. The way that the pages don’t lay flat, actually work wonderfully once I put my earrings in it - another detail that keeps my earrings from rubbing on each other. The only thing that makes me nervous is that the sides are open. I wish It was a full zip. I worry that if some of the backs fall off, my earrings might fall out of the book. Even though it is fairly lightweight and compact, I would not choose this book for travel because of the open sides. Overall, this is an excellent value at the current price at the time of writing this review. Its decent quality and has nice details. It displays my earrings well and keeps them protected from rubbing on each other, but since it is open on the sides they aren’t as secure as I’d like. I give it 4 stars because it advertises being for travel or popping in your purse, and I don’t think it fulfills that promise. Read more
