I admit that sometimes when I order from amazon, I sort of hold my breath and have low expectations on what I’m getting. This is NOT the case. Never and I mean NEVER have I received an item so well packaged that one would think the Mona Lisa was inside. Well done! I really do like this little table decoration, which also is great on a variety of other surfaces such as a mantel, window sill, or shelf. I was impressed with how carefully the pieces were secured with bubble wrap and tape, and how spotless the canning jars are! The little eggs are great and slightly different from most decorative eggs I've seen. The center jar is a cream color and gives the whole display a more unique and crafty appeal. The wood of the tray is rough in places, which only adds to the overall look. Included are two strings of fairy lights with batteries. They sparkle in the glass jars are really look beautiful. They only have an on/off switch, though. After I had my display set up, I felt like the painted jar needed lights as well. I pulled the end from the strings in the other jars and put some of the lights into the third jar. I like that a lot better and wonder why a third string wasn't included. Also, since you need to remove the lights from the jars to turn them on and off, and at the price charged for this decoration, I think the lights should come with a timer as well. The lights do give off a lovely glow, especially in a dimly lit room. Since Easter is months away, I replaced the egg stems with other flowers I had on hand. I'm already thinking about stems to use for Valentine's Day and for the months ahead. Read more
