Very awesome clarinet, it's definitely like a composite plastic material which is fine, it still sounds nice, but it's difficult to put together, even with the grease. I'm hoping through time it becomes easier. I wish it came with more reeds, the only one included had a small crack/thin spot already so it didn't last long. We were able to order more through Amazon though so it worked out. I love that it comes with the grease, alcohol pads, gloves, stand, weighted cleaning cloth, etc because it's so convenient and appreciated. I was nervous to buy an inexpensive clarinet online, so I’d went the used route. My daughter has went through 2 name brand clarinets in 2 years. The repairs were always expensive and mediocre at best. I finally gave up and purchased this one. Wow! I would have saved so much money by just going this route to begin with. She loves it and insisted that I get on and leave a good review to tell others about it. Hahaha So here I am. I highly recommend this clarinet. It’s well built, has beautiful tone, and since it’s ABS material instead of wood, it isn’t affected by temperature changes like the wood or ebonite ones. My daughter had previously had a wooden Yamaha one and it was warped from playing it outdoors. The carrying case and accessories were also a nice touch. This clarinet ended up being much better than I expected for the price. The sound out of the box with the included reed is rich and full. The matte finish makes the clarinet feel high quality. The inclusion of cork grease, cleaning cloth, and a stand is a nice touch. Out of the box I did have two keys that were loose and not pressing down. Thankfully it was simple to fix with a tiny flathead screwdriver you would use for glasses. The other issue I’ve had is that the included mouth piece is fairly “open” meaning I’ve only been able to get sounds out of reed strengths 2 and below. Anything stronger and I get an airy unusable sound. Overall I think this is a great clarinet for anyone just learning or taking a band class and is looking to save money and get everything all in one. Read more

The Clarinet sounds good. It would be a good beginner clarinet. The mouth piece I received there’s a chip on the very tip of it. The ligature doesn’t hold the reed still very well. Other than the mouth piece the rest of the clarinet looks very well made. Read more

Just like the title says, pick one of these up and save the rental costs! I figured when I ordered this it would be a “knock-off” version of what my daughter was already renting, but I was wrong. In fact, it’s literally the same quality with a couple improvements! My daughter prefers the soft case over the plastic one of the rentals and about lost her mind when she saw it matched her school colors! She was happier about this than the iPhone she got for Christmas. Definitely a win in my book! Cork grease that comes with it is garbage, so expect to order some with it. Still a plastic unit, but is a good quality direct 1 to 1 replacement for rentals. Great sound for a beginner! Keys feel great and none stick. Easy to tune and work with! Read more
