I ordered the 68x82 size in Dark (forest) Green for my queen size bed- it covers my bedding perfectly. Wish I would have known about this product sooner! I have a 25lb dog who is a rescue so I don’t know her exact breed, but she has long hair and an undercoat- so lots of shedding in this house. She has her own bed but likes to hang out on mine too, which I love. :) But I also wanted to save my bedding from dog hair, treat crumbs, and slobber, so I did some research on Amazon. I read lots of reviews for similar products but ultimately picked this one, and I’m glad I did! I liked that it didn’t have a bold/lumpy stitching pattern. If I’m putting this over my bedding, I want it to at least somewhat match my style. I also love the small paw prints on the back- it helps keep the cover from slipping around. I haven’t tested for water resistance, but my dog is on the older side so I’m sure it’ll come in handy down the road. I don’t expect dog blankets/covers to be fully waterproof as advertised. They are made of fabric, so at most I would call them water resistant. The reviews from people complaining about pee or water eventually seeping through… well, again, it’s a fabric cover, not a tarp. And those who rate the product 1 star because their dog ripped it apart… seriously? Come on people.. Anyway, it’s a good cover for the price and it is easy to clean. Saves my bedding from being a hairy mess! *** Also, pro tip- if you have a dog that sheds, I highly recommend the “Chom Chom” roller. It is so much easier than using lint rollers, and it glides SO easily over this cover. I finally found a dream hairball cleaning combo! *update 6/7/2022: It is holding up beautifully. It helped greatly with one of my parent’s dogs who had cancer and bad lymphedema/fluid leakage; I used it when he stayed with me. Didn’t leak through this cover. Saved me loads of laundry. Still using daily on my bed to cover my duvet from my dog’s shedding. Glad I purchased this item. *another update! 1/17/2023: still going strong! My girl did have a wee accident recently and most of it was on this cover (some also got onto an area of my bedding that wasn’t covered by this product - hello, laundry). BUT the area directly underneath this cover was dry as a bone. So, as an addendum to my previous statement: it does in fact appear to be waterproof! The wee accident happened while I was out for several hours, and nothing leaked through. So, A+ in my book. It’s a good buy! Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Read more

I don’t often leave reviews, only when they are extraordinarily good or downright horrible. I have 2 puppies who are in the midst of potty training. Naturally, there are accidents. Cleaning sheets, the carpet, blankets have become a new hobby and it is time consuming to say the least. I put this pet protector over my comforter and at omg point, I noticed that one of the puppies had a pee on it. The urine had not absorbed into the cloth. Rather, it was sitting on top of it as if it were a hard surface. I wiped it up so easily! And it was hardly damp. I still sprayed the Nature’s miracle on top of it so he doesn’t think he can do it again, but it was so quick and easy! My puppies are 1.4 and 2.4 lbs so I can’t attest to how it would have worked if it was a larger dog with a bigger accident, but it works great for my fur babies! Read more

This sofa cover is 2 years old, and is only now showing signs of wear. It has stood up to a 70' incontinent Staffordshire Terrier, a Pekingese who marks, a French Bulldog who moves the cover with his teeth--and scratches it to make his nest. There has been pee, poop (dog), barf, dropped food, spilled coffee, and beer. My friend barfed on it last week when she had too much Peanut Butter Whiskey. Nice. With this in mind, please buy two of them. When one is in the washer, put the other one on the couch so that the offending canine can't jump up and do all the above things to your sofa. There's a second plus to this sofa cover. My sofa looks like I pulled it out of a dumpster--from the 7 dogs BEFORE this sofa cover. With the cover, it looks it look like a classy joint. Of course, this meant many, many washings. It comes out of the dryer looking great. The color is almost the same as when I bought it. It has never stained, not even from that red wine. Now there are a couple 1/4" worn spots where the fabric is separating. The most amazing part is that even with all the wear, tear, nest-making, and all the washing--it is still WATERPROOF. HINTS: *Do not wash it with towels. (If you don't listen to me, wash again with a strong dose of liquid fabric softener.) *If you have a cat, or a dog who sheds enough to make another dog, put liquid fabric softener in the WASH cycle. *Get a bigger one than planned so you can tuck it in around the cushions if you can. * Buy one that matches your dogs fur. In between washings if it isn't quite dirty enough, just brush off the fur off with a shop brush. Dollar Tree, cleaning aisle, comes with a dust pan. *Remember that they're loving creatures, and they don't do it on purpose...except for my Blue Heeler, Merlin. Merlin did it on purpose. Read more

These are a life saver, time saver and a money saver! We have an older female dog who will lose control over her bladder from time to time. She likes to lie down on the dog beds we have all over the house. Even though we are able to wash to the dog bed covers, it was difficult to wash the foam, so we ended up throwing out the dog bed every few months. This was getting very expensive, so I ended up buying 5 of these, sewed a 5 inch hem on all the sides and then threaded 2 inch elastic inside the hem. The elastic makes the cover like a “fitted sheet” and doesn’t come off easily- even if one our other dogs tries to pull it off. So now we just cover the dog beds with modified covers and whenever she pees on one, we just take off the cover and put a new one. We wash them about once or twice a week and they have never leaked on the dog beds. This has saved us hundreds of dollars because now we don’t need to buy new dog beds every few months. These are money saver and if you can sew a straight line, adding the hem with a machine takes about 15 minutes. Adding the elastic, only 30-45 minutes, including swing the ends together to make it tight! Read more
