Terrific kit. Are these watchmaker quality tools? No. If you are working in a jewelry store is this the kit you want? No. But, as someone with several watches that needed batteries changed and bands adjusted, this kit has been excellent. Quality is better than I expected at the price point and all the tools I've used in the kit have performed well for my needs. I've removed 5 casebacks with the 3 point wrench tool and/or the tiny screwdriver (you only use two of the contact points on the wrench) and changed batteries as well as worked with 4 watchbands. The tweezers are perfect for battery changes. The Seiko type band that uses the u-shaped pin rather than the singular one required additional tool (tiny stronger screwdriver to pop it out) but the included pin driver for other watch bands and the spring bar tool work great. As a caveat, doing these things (battery changes and band adjustments) is not always easy. Using too much (or too little) force will break the tools or damage your watch. More expensive tools will offer you more margin for error, but the tools in this kit are excellent for a home amateur with some experience working with small electronics or modelling. At this price point these tools are more than adequate to allow you to adjust your bands and replace your batteries. And be sure to watch a few youtube videos before trying this and use plastic to protect your caseback from scratching. Read more

Came with a bunch of extra watch band pins, lots of other goodies. My only complaints are that the measurements on the orange band-picking and link removal tool are not in any system that I know. Also, the screwdrivers that come with this set are not small enough for mechanical watch disassembly. Everything else was as advertised, and the case looks really nice as an added touch. Note that this set does not come with a watch press; if you plan on replacing the battery of quartz watches with prybacks, you will need to buy it separately. Read more

Very useful product. I adjusted the metal bracelet on my mechanical watch without having to take it to a shop for adjustment. Just being able to do this alone makes this toolset worthwhile. Relative compact size. Only the test of time can speak to the durability. I recommend this product. Read more

This watch repair kit exceeded my expectations for the price. It comes with all the essential tools you need to adjust bands, change batteries, remove links, and open case backs. The tools aren’t professional-grade, but they’re sturdy enough for personal use. I used this to replace the battery in a couple of watches and resize a metal band and everything worked as intended. The included instructions are simple, and even if you’re new to watch repairs, you can figure it out with a little patience. The carrying case is also well-organized and keeps everything in place. For under $20, this is a fantastic value. I highly recommend it if you want to do small watch fixes at home without a trip to the jeweler. Read more

So far I have only used the case holder and the wrench, but I have no complaints. I am not a jeweller and plan on using the kit just for battery replacement and band adjustment, and the tools seem to be of a good enough quality for me. The price is very good, a couple bucks less than Wal-Mart wants for a smaller cheaper looking set. Read more

I wasn't sure when I ordered this that I would be adept enough to use it properly. The instructions were clear and concise, and installing new capacitors in a couple of rather expensive watches turned out to be easy-peasy. Read more
