Supplies just enough current to allow the charger to operate properly to give a strong full charge to all batteries. Batteries get a little warm but nothing to be concerned about. If a battery or batteries ever become too hot to handle, the battery or batteries are bad and need to be removed right away before it explodes or causes a fire. Take the overheated battery or batteries outside to safely cool down or do whatever. Read more
