Way better than the ECHO Dot!
Having a screen to look at was makes the huge difference between this and the ECHO Dot. I wish I would have bought this first. I did have a problem with playing music from the speaker. It seemed like the speaker wouldn't play quality sound. But I didn't really care as I had Bluetooth speakers for everything I have already already. What made this a five star rating was that the screen was very enjoyable with not only the time temperature, date but it will also show your timer,alarm settings right on the screen. Saves time asking about that if you can just look over at it. Read more

Good so far minus the lightbulb
Just got this device today. The set-up was pretty easy for the Echo. I’m still working on learning the Alexa app and all the bells and whistles. Sound quality seems decent for such a small device and I look forward to jamming out to my favorite tunes. On the other hand, the Amazon Basics color changing lightbulb that was paired with this device does not appear to work. I’ve put it into several lamps around my house and it simply won’t power on. It’s disappointing because I was really looking forward to using it and pairing it with the app. I will have to look into getting this one switched out. Read more
