EcoWorthy is a known name in solar panels and the quality of this one is high as expected. On a 98⁰F humid Missouri afternoon I was getting 85 watts after 1 hour of this panel sitting out in the heat. The MC4 connectors snap into place firmly and are fairly easy to get apart and will allow you to use with a variety of power stations amd other applications. The weight is light for the size of this panel and taking into consideration the legs and plastic on the handles. The speed that this panel can be picked up and carried off is ridiculous. The materials are nice, the build quality is great and my only complaint is that the legs dont extend back far enough. I had to lean this panel up against my power station to achieve higher outputs. First, this is an excellent portable 100w solar panel. I qualify that by pointing out that where you live and the power station you are charging can impact the level of efficiency you will receive from any solar panel. My experience was that placing the panel in my driveway around 11:00 am consistently delivered between 67 and 73 watts of power. My photo shows 72, but the average was closer to 70 watts. Thats very good results from my experience. I have hard permanently mounted 100 watt panels from other brands that don’t produce that much energy. Although some of the newer model portable panels have started using much lighter, more flexible panels, wind and other weather concerns make the more rigid panels like this one worth the extra weight for my travel experiences. The fact that this panel has an MC4 connector that I can attach any of my other MC4 connectors to is huge. Many portable panels come with a pigtail of a few barrel plugs, but few have an actual MC4 connector. This panel comes with an MC4 connector AND a pigtail that includes the newest standard (CT60) connector and two additional barrel plug connectors. The panel has flaps on the back that made it easy to setup in minutes. Photos show it connected to a power station located in my garage because the two provided cables were long enough for me to position the panel in the sunshine and run the cables into the shade of the garage to my portable power station. Easy to set-up; however, size and weight seemed excessive: Smaller and lighter would have been appreciated. Operational performance was less than expected as I was never able to achieve a "consistent" rated output of 100W - my experience with this solar panel was similar to another reviewer in that the peak output tended to hover between 60 W and 90 W. A good decent type solar panel; however, if minimal size and weight are considerations and a "consistent" 100W output is a "must-have," perhaps look for a more premium solar panel. Read more
